If its in regards to dating your friend's ex girlfriend: take the girl, learn from the mistake that you failed to learn while watching your friend go through the train wreck. If you are the guy who your friend wants to date your ex: dude, let him go through the train wreck too. he obviously didn't learn from your mistake..... Also, its not your right, nor place to stand in the way of your friend's happiness, cuz you are jealous that your ex and your friend are dating...

that rule 'don't date each other's ex's' is bullshit and was made up to keep your best friend from boning your hot ex he'd been lusting after since they met.. grow up and get over it....

If you are in a relationship: DO NOT blow off your friends if its preplanned, date's been set, and she would rather you stay in, at the last minute.

If you haven't seen your girl in a long time, and you have the chance to see your friends, whom you see more often then your girl... uh, duh.. see the girl.. your friends will understand. if they don't, they aren't worth it. After all, you see them more than you see her....

Here's how I feel about it: if we are friends, and I want to date your ex, if you tell me to chose between them and you, I will choose them. A TRUE friend doesn't make you chose. its not their right or their place to ask that.
