One of the ladies I worked with this evening was wearing them. I complimented her pedicure, and she revealed her secret!! I'm shocked that I never knew of these before!!!

I have horrible-looking toenails (from dancing for so many years), and I always sidestep foot fetish gigs because of it. My problem is solved!!

OMG fake toenails!! I tend to rock them all summer long. They are awesome!

Im currently working on a everyday beauty ritual and skin maintence day once a week. I hate getting tans, it just leaves me sooo uneven. I miss being the all over fair-skinned girl I was, DAMN YOU MOTHER(she locked me out the house one summer and thats where it all began) !!!!!! DAMN YOU SUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im going to skip the shaving and do the waxing. I know more painful but better results and it lasts longer.

I dont have a EXTREME beauty ritual for everyday.

I usual shower, floss brush scrape, bush hair into a ponytail, scrub face, lotion up and get dressed.

Im glad i dont have to wash me hair everyday, I would be pissed. Yaaaa once a week!!!!!

Hmm me getting ready for cc may take an hour or so though:

pulling clothes out

matching boots together

fucking with my hair over and over

playing with my boobs (for the electrical tape nights)

adjusting the industrial I have playing while getting ready

in the bathroom for like 45 mins. usually doing all the teeth, skin and nail cleaning

Drinking (but i still buy drinks at CC lol..shhh)

Somethimes putting on eye makeup (depending on how I feel)

Of course helping my best friend get ready.

Over the years I have mastered the art of getting ready fast, and still looking good.

But on full maintenance days it gets pretty intense.

Daily tasks: Brush the teeth, shower, make up and hair. Takes about 20-30min depending on how slow I'm going that day. And how annoying my cat is being. I have the drawing/painting the eyebrows on down to an art. Probably the easiest task I do.

The massive maintenance day(s):

-Bleach hair/roots

-Dye hair

-Shower/Shave....Arms...Legs....Eyebrows....and a little more. :-D

-Puts the lotion on the skin. Needs to keep the canvas looking nice for more wonderful art.

-Remove nail polish

-Paint the nails black

And if I'm going to the bar I have to tear through my laundry baskets of shit that I don't wear every day to find something to wear. That sometimes takes a bit. I don't have a closet since I sleep in a sectioned off dining room/front foyer area. And I despise dressers. I need to invest in shelving.

I tend to use a lot of natural and organic beauty products. Some of my favorite stuff comes from Lush. They make wonderful things that smell very nice. People come to my house and ask what smells so good after I take a shower. :-)

And for those super blond ones out there Lush makes an amazing shampoo called Daddy-O. Its dark purple, so it tones the blond very nicely. I still use it even though I am reddish/pinkish/fuchsia/wtfuckenred.

I have the "laundry baskets full of stuff" issue, as well. I have no dressers, and not enough hangers. I keep a lot of my nice clothes laid out flat, in a laundry basket, usually.

@ the reference to the annoying cat. I have three, who delight in fouling up my time schedule.

Most days, when I'm spending the day at home or running errands, I rock the ballcap & ponytail/flannel & jeans thang. I like to be reasonably maintenance-free, and comfortable, on my days off.

Now I'm glad I'm not a hot chick. I would die if I had to do that all the time. My 20 mins in the morning works fine for me.

Even when going to CC, I don't think I take more than 30 mins.

Although, my new boots take a half an hour to ribbon up. :/

I find it funny how, if I am alone, it takes me hardly any time to get ready, but if I have a female friend over, it seems like it takes up both well over 2 hours to get ready. Or if I get ready and then drive to my friend's place, to either pick her up or catch a ride with her, I end up doing more stuff with my appearance while I'm at her place.

Guys: It is eyeliner...take it...draw evenly around your eyes with it. It is not rocket science. Do not be afraid of the pencil, it is your friend, it will make you look fabulous, and it will not hurt you....unless you stab yourself in the eye with it.

I understand how that goes. Every guy I seem to date takes longer than I do to get ready. Yeesh. Only I don't have to do their makeup. I just get to sit around and watch until they're almost done, and then I go get ready.

After that point he only gets to do what she wants to do.

That's generally the case with my guy friends. They get a girlfriend and disappear because girls suck like that, they're so fucking time consuming and usually get pissed if their man is off spending time with people other than herself.

Like I said though, there are exceptions because there are exceptions to everything, but I've only seen the exception happen a few times.

Hmm. That sucks. That happened to one of my friends. Really blows. Pretty much all of my friends are mostly guys, or lesbians, with a few exceptions to the rule. But I usually don't loose them to significant others in that manner.
