I'm a designer and CCS grad that's looking to expand my (amatuer) photographic skills into the people realm. (Most of what I've done to date is cars, nature and landscape related.)

I'd like to work with creative people that either have a vision of what they want to do, or are willing to experiment and see what happens. For me this is about learning the tools and techniques as well as beggining to create a body of work. I really want collaborators... partners...people who contribute to the process. If your comfortable being naked that's a plus, but not required.

You shouldn't have trouble getting responses. Just check out Tomcat's thread about needing models. Mention it's for some gothy magazine, and everyone will be at your front door.

Well...obviously that's NOT what it's for. Unless we get some really good shots and then I can sell em, I suppose. =) Then I have to deal with that whole model release thing don't I?

I should also mention to everyone that I can't really afford to compensate you much except for refreshments while shooting and a CD of all the images taken.

That should bring them stampeding!! :tongue:

It might be fun if you and Tomcat got together for a project and used some people from DGN as models. Some good DGN calendar pics might come from this...

Uhhhh....ummm....You're gothy just as you are! Yeah! That's the ticket.

I'm not looking for any particular type of person. Cheerleaders and football players don't do a whole lot for me though... :laughing

I did a shoot with a friend in Chicago last week. She's a theater major/costume designer. Clothes were sort of invloved... Shes an SG member so I liked the tats and peircings she had..(Not many) What was fun was that she has a creative mind so we had good dialogue during the shoot...

Here's my fave photo of the bunch that I've edited so far...

I'll do it. I won't take nakie pics cause that's just scarey. Me nakie that is. I do need some pics taken of me with swords and such for a website so that will get some exposure for your work.

Sounds good. I'll be in touch via PM shortly. If you have ideas of what you want to do...specific ones. send them to me so I can thingk about it a bit.. and then we can plan out and execute the shoot.

I'm definately interested in helping.. you won't get me nakey, but I have alot of hot/interesting clothes. I also do alot of photography and have been looking for an excuse/buddy to encourage/prod me into working again.

I'm considering coming to MI alone in August. I need a round of pics done for onlypaperdolls.com, as well as the DGN calendar. I have someone in mind to do the shoot with me. If anyone is willing, I might just book the trip. I don't want to use Wayne's uncle as the photographer again, as it just felt weird.

I'd say yes, but my situation is such that I don't even know if I'll be living here then... I'll keep everyone posted. I think you'd be a great model if your online personality is anything like reality.. :grin
