So...for those of us who's bosses are badass enough to have cancelled work entirely due to this horrible global warming we're going through atm (sarcasm, as if I have to even say it), what the hell are you going to do with your day?

Clean your house?

Finally take up quilting?

Drink hot cocoa with or without schnapps?

Drive your car recklessly?

Build snowmans and snow condos for them to live in?

I'll be doing options one, three, and five on the list. What is everyone else doing with their gloriously snowy day?

Unfortunately mine never gets cancelled.

And I'll be driving in it all starting at about 1 pm. I still have stuff I have to do, despite the snow.

Ah, so you're going with option number 4 on the list: "Drive your car recklessly". Fair enough, good luck with that, at least try to drive safe. I do have to go to my grammy's today, but I'm making Boshy drive since she has to go there also anyway to get the snow out her driveway, and I'm getting free lunch out the deal.

Having work off = Early Christmas! I get to be lazy AND get fed...amazing.

My work never gets canceled, ever. We're even open Christmas Day and New Years Day. But, I have today off work anyway. Yay! So I'm doing nothing on that list and instead playing computer games most of the day. I may finally finish NWN2!

I chose to have today off, in light of the birthday yesterday. I am currently cleaning the apartment which includes hand dusting all six bookshelves, dusting the four DVD racks, entertainment center, computer desk, vacuum and spot clean the carpet, and getting on my hands and knees using a bleach cleaner on both the bathroom and kitchen floor.

Yes, I take my housecleaning seriously.

The bingo hall is closed today! I had the day of anyway though :p I am going to see Hinder tonight in Pontiac with my friend Lori. Then probably CC afterward! Right now, I am lounging in my pajamas, just ate breakfast (eggs and bacon), and cleaning my room. I am currently taking a short break from the cleaning, about to get back to it! Then laundry! And finally, shower!

I have a day off, was going to clean, was going to have a good and fun day, but spent it mourning because one my baby rats that I took to the vet ended up having pneumonia, and her lungs were so full they said she might not make it. They were guessing that congenitally she just was born with a very weak immune system...and this morning she lost the batlle :cry. She was only four months :cry.

They were guessing that congenitally she just was born with a very weak immune system...and this morning she lost the batlle :cry. She was only four months :cry.

Aw, I am sorry about your rattie. They can be so fragile, esp. as babies.

My workplace was open, but I called in because my car got stuck before I even got to I-75. I guess they ended up closing the library at 2 pm anyway.

I'm so sorry for your little babymouse, Cher. :cry My rattie died two years ago, from Sialodacryoadenitis virus. He must have had it before I got him, as there was no other way he could have contracted it (I had no other rodents at the time). He lived for only two years.

Well, this is how it looks after 5-6 hours of shoveling and I am totally battered, blistered and bruised. Can't wait to get a full year in with this house so I can buy essential lawn equipment. Nice big yard to mow, and long driveway to shovel 10 inches of snow. Just beyond the trees on the right is that little slope that I got stuck in.

And I didn't have to go to Indiana afterall since they don't have anything to get me back up here, so yes, work is cancelled for the weekend.

my bar is closed tonight...:(..but were open tommarow... good thing i started at the ritz last night.. but mephistos will be open tommarow...

..so now needs to figure out what to do tonight.....

Avoid going out and getting stuck in the snow? lol
