ok, last one today. i swear! :laughing

im just so happy to see my old stuff again!

this is a sample of a style i was/am trying to cultivate for myself. i want it to have a sort of minimalist/"industrial" (like skinny puppy or wumpscut lyrics etc) kinda feel. also inspired by post-WW1 poetry.

our lines

lines in blood

lines in sand

lines in palm

lines in strand

tradition gives way

hereditary nonsense

illogical

the cultural mind

meaningless connections

lost in machinery

we are connected to disconnection

people without a people

lost

lost programs for breeding

lost purpose for survival

trait list babel

a million million tongues

a million lines of blood

blood in the sand

blood in the hand

what are we for?

spilling blood on sand

war

hereditary darwinisms

the meaningless program

life

encoded encrypted

cryptic crypts

we are awash

in a sea of the unknown

we are unknown

who are we for?

we study throughly

our bloodlines

decyphering the code

but never knowing

whose blood drew our lines
