What I want to know is, HOW and WHY did stripper poles become such a fad in the nightclubs? I've seen nothing but foolishness and accidents ensue, whenever the general public tries to play Elizabeth Berkley.

People sure are stealing a lot from our (stripper) culture, and YET, our line of work is STILL not dining room conversation. I never thought I'd see a day when young school girls wanted to grow up to be strippers, but due to just about every popular movie and TV show featuring at least one "gentlemen's club" scene, a lot of girls find the idea attractive. Trust me..it's NOT all fun and games, and dress-up-- and it really offends and worries me, when people needlessly glamourize it (in the way a war veteran would be offended and worried if he/she saw his/her child wearing the flag of an enemy). Y'all do NOT want to be strippers, or be like strippers.

This has been a public service announcement. :p

EXACTLY.

I used to take pole classes for fitness. Now that my knee is better, I can take those again. But, people are stupid when they get near a pole that they have NO freakin' clue how to use. Lawsuits can and will ensue.

I don't know what bar or club this is, but I'm going to say juke. It's REALLY for everyone else's safety. If a guy wants to stick dollars to anyone's ass...come to MY house.

UHM... Does anyone remember the brief yet horrible period when there were the cages at CC??? A pole would be WORSE. At least with the cages, the drunken hoochies were CONTAINED. They would just launch themselves off a pole. Besides, think how germy that thing would get... *shudders*

Juke for me please.

JUKEBOX

If I wanted to watch skanky nasty hoes rubbing their skanky nasty cooters on some shit just trying pathetically to get attention from guys while drunk...I would go to some skanky nasty PREPPY bar like TikiBob's. I would expect something more out of "goth" people...but then again, it seems like many of us are starting to sell out too.

There's nothing tasteful about having a stripper pole in some place that isn't a strip club...JUKEBOX!

I mean, some gross girl might get up there and start sloppily rubbing her shit all over the pole while some awesome song is playing like, I dunno, Skinny Puppy - Assimilate (since they play it so much) and after that night every time I'd hear Assimilate, I'd think of that fugly drunk girl at the club rubbing her shit around like it's hot...do you see the dilemna? Too much chance for post-traumatic stress disorders...not to mention that the incident of herpes, crabs, scabies, gonorreah, chlamydia, syphillis, and possibly HIV would skyrocket (OKAY...maybe not that extreme, but crabs and herpes anyone?)

BAD IDEA IMO!

The bed is sleazy enough, doesn't need a stripper pole.

However a fire pole would be cool, so I could get out of the club quicker if I'm there. Watching retards break their necks is great fun anyway. Darwinism rocks!!!!!!!!!

+1

Stripper Pole???

Bah we can do better then that... why not a firemans pole that leads to the Jukebox??? with all of the injury and death from falling it will filter out the drunk people from choosing bad music for the jukebox... win win.....

(and if you are still wanting perve points you can hang out under the pole and watch the ladies with skirts sliding down to make requests)
