Soulrev
Are there any good MMORPGs worth playing anymore? I liked EQ, even EQ2 but nobody really plays anymore to make it worth it. I hate WoW so that's out of the question. There certainly aren't as many choices out there than there used to be. But if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear em. Eevee
I'm trying to get Rappelz to work on my computer but its being a douchebag. I have a few friends that are on it already.

Soulrev
LOL seriously though there just aren't any good ones out there anymore. I used to like dark age of Camelot but it kind of died out, too. Silkroad online isn't bad for being free. I really can't bring myself to play WoW again, mostly because of the general community of asshats that play it and ruin an already boring, cookie-cutter atmosphere. Scarecrow
Rappelz is ok, but you cant use the arrow keys and it pisses me off... Perfect World was a really fun one and you can go anywhere (by that I mean fly) or turn into an animal, its all really cool I like these mmo's cause they're FREE

Soulrev
I read in a gaming mag almost 2 yrs ago that they are working on a Guild Wars 2. I thought that game was really good except for the way they worked the "zones". Towns and cities are their own zones where everyone can be at the same time, but in order for you and someone else to enter the "wilderness" I guess you could say, to go do a quest or something, you have to be in a group. Otherwise it's a different instance for everyone. So that works out ok if you're wanting to go to a specific spot, so nobody is already "camping" the monsters, but as far as online gameplay goes it kinda sucks. Hellgate, London was very good imo. Much like Diablo, except more "futuristic". They could have gone far with that game but I think the lack of content made it start to lose popularity. It was made by some of the creators of Diablo, actually, and most of the game is set up exactly like it. Same inventory style, unique items that require identification, teleportation to and from towns or "stations" as it is based on the London Underground.. Even has Acts I-V like Diablo. It's a very fun game but now they are shutting down the public servers as of Jan. 31st so you will only be able to play it in Single Player mode. Which, is ok, too, because it does have a lot of replay value if you like to pursue rare items and such but a lot of the updates in content they made for Multiplayer only, so that kind of dumbs it down a little as far as that goes. Anyway. the article I had read about GW2 sounded like it was going to be a promising game. I don't know if they're still working on it or if they canned the project or what. I have yet to look into that one.
vampire
I played SWG form start .. had me an elder jedi in that game .. it took me 6 months to get there ...... whoever played eq and eq2 knows about long grinds .. in age of conan i was lvl 80 teer one epics in a month and a half .... i heard some wispers about diablo 3 .. but nothing nailed .. my best bet is this new Star wars game ... WOW is poopie .. i should sell my old account lol.. ih i did play COV for a little bit .. and Guild wars .... and dark age of camelot ... my favourite by far is SWG .. and not the game itself so much as the comunity around it .. great times .. Star Wars rulles .. Sith rules ... i made a darth doodie , gotta go
Soulrev
Yeah I had a lvl 65 Mage in EQ with the epic quest completed. That quest sucked, I think it was the hardest quest in the game at the time. I reactivated my account about 6 months ago just to see what was new and there's not nearly the community there used to be, but tons of new stuff. But anyway, yeah, I heard D3 is supposed to come out pretty soon but my guess is it's going to suck. Blizzard entertainment has gone to shit since they released WoW. They even had a hand in Call of Duty, World at War, and that game has so many bugs in it that it just pisses me off so I uninstalled it. It's a fun game, but there's so many problems that it makes it not worth playing, so I'll put that one back on the shelf until they release a couple of patches. It just boggles my mind that they even released a game in that condition. It's really and truly pitiful. Activision did just fine making COD, COD2. But when they teamed up with Blizzard shit hit the fan. Blizzard hasn't released a good game in years now.

e-jewell
Lords of Evil is pretty decent, though that's more strategy gaming. But... it's free, and it's decent, so who's to complain? Personally I'm at last engaging in defeating every difficulty and class of Diablo 2. After I finally finish with the necro I'm going to choose something that not every other fucking person chooses lol. Sweet character, but wayyyyy conformist. Yeah I have pretty much completed everything in that game and gotten just about every item you can imagine. But I'm going to reinstall and do it again anyway
