it wasn't in here. I started a big and beautiful thread, and someone turned it into a bashing fat people thread. I won't say who it was, but all you have to do is look it up and read it for yourself. :)

I had better not. That sort of shit makes me angry. Since my daughter put on a few pounds, someone who supposedly cares about her has told her TO HER FACE that she's fat.

She is NOT fat. But, she IS eating healthier, right along with us!

Hey, Chernobyl, you need to update your ticker :p I been looking at a white box with the words "Not updated for more than 80 days, please update" for a while now lol :)

I know! I forgot the pin code, I need to make a new one, will do that later.

See, it's because I don't know how much I weigh anymore because my scale broke, which of course made me feel fat for a minute, until I remembered that the thing was about 13 years old . I have no money for a new one atm, but since I'm getting a gym membership next week I'll be able to weigh in regularily from now on.

Today's tip is on Calcium! and when I say Calcium, I mean CalciYUM!!!

Make sure you have two to three servings of it a day. I try to go with the Fat Free yogert, and 2% milk cottage cheese.

My favorite type of yogert, more so than the light and fit. Much better tasting!!

and for the later snack...

Make sure you get the digestive health ones, they have fiber added to them, and are YUM!!!

Green vegetables are another excellent source of calcium, especially because many also have a fair amount of vitamin C which aids in its absorption AND greens have no animal fats.

I'd offer you my old one, but it's not very reliable, hence the reason my mom bought me a new one.

I keep forgetting that not everyone works in a medical office and goes to school in another medical office, and therefore does not have daily access to a scale.

at the weight loss company my mom worked for, they suggested every mondays. :) weighing yourself every other day, or even every three days is setting yourself up for failure, because your weight can fluxuate throughout the day, as well as the week. having a set day to weigh will ensure a better reading on what your weight loss is. :)

I can understand why that's recommended for a lot of people who will freak out "Oh my god, I gained a pound since yesterday!", and who don't understand how water, exercise, etc can make you fluxuate, but it doesn't work the best for everyone.

If I am serious about losing it, and I don't think I am alone here, I have to weigh myself everyday to keep motivated. It allows me to understand how my body works, and notice things like "Hey it reads about 1.5 lbs. more than this time yesterday. Maybe I should think back to what I ate yesterday and try to cut down on the sodium today." I wouldn't consider it a "real" weight loss or gain unless I have gotten the same numbers for several consecutive days. I feel that weighing only once a week is setting myself up to fail, because if the day I'm weighing happens to be an "up-flux" day (which is especially common that time of the month, or if I've exercised a lot during the week) then I feel bad about myself because it says I stayed the same or even am up a pound. Plus, I've noticed that if I don't weigh myself every day I am much more likely to sneak in snacks that I know I shouldn't be having.

Know thyself.
