Today's Tip.. Raising your self image.. (you're good enough, you smart enough, and doggoneit people like you)

Oddly enough a positive self image and self esteem is vital to your weight loss success..

For Seven Minutes Each Day.. Practice these things..

1. Remind yourself about three things you are currently grateful for in your life

2. Say, out loud, three things you admire most about yourself (be sure to feel the positive feelings you get from this)

3. Think about three things you've already accomplished in life, and how great you felt after achieving them.

4. think about your weight loss goals as if you've already achieved them.

5. Think and "feel" about three healthy new habits you're adding into your life (i.e. exercise, healthy foods, portion control)

I am starting this today, I can't lie, I felt stupid doing it today, but I think it will help in the long run. Through repetition, I think I'll start to believe it.

well, i've been going out quite a bit more than i had been, and thusly drinking a bit more than i had been, which has stalled my progress a bit. as of today, i'm not going out for a while, to try to focus on my health again. maybe i can actually start getting enough sleep for achange as well.

i did, however, improve my deadlift by another 20lbs. up to 5 sets of 5 @225#. being as it's a new month now, i want to change my scheme again, going back towards a bit lighter weight, with reps in the range of 12-15 per set. should help with muscular endurance, and keep my heart rate up. also need to start cooking at home & watching my calories again. i'm at the same weight, but i feel fat again.

gah, i'ma shut up now... =P

I can't believe no one's been on this thread since I left it last friday.. :( How is everyone else doing?

Getting better? What difficulty are you on and what step? With Max they don't have beginner mode, so are you on light mode? (yellow, standard is pink, heavy is green)

Piggymama bought me a new pair of jeans, and once the pants relaxed after wearing them once, they are WAY too big. They fit kinda snug when i had them on, to begin with... we shall see, after they are washed and dried and see if they actually relax that much. i kinda don't want to get a smaller size because I have a bit of a belly, still, and its uncomfortable, when i sit, to have anything push on my belly... we shall see, like i said. I don't know... i have a big belly, but my back, my waist is really tiny.. its a weird combo. Its really hard to find pants that fit. i mean really hard. I love my big butt, but its so damn hard to find clothes. I know I'll lose some of that, but i know that not all of it will go away.

On a lighter note, a drea friend of mine :wub: you know who you are, bought me a lovely bra, that should help a lot of my back and shoulder pains. i don't care how good a bra is, when you are a 36-38 DDD, boobs are too big to be suported by the shoulders. Doesn't matter how wide the straps are. So i now have a VERY supportive bra that will support the massive boobs from underneath. I have to wear a bra, all the time. I hate it, but if I go more than a few hours without one (not sleeping, I mean sitting up, and being active) my back hurts SO bad... Since i have to constantly wear one, my shoulders hurt really bad. SO... i have to pick the lesser of the two evils.. *SIGH*

I have cut back on how much I eat, as well as watching what I eat. I can't eat to boost my matablolism, apparently. It sucks, but that's how I have found it works. I have almost reached my 200lb mile marker. It fluxuates between 202-208, which means that I'm not drinking enough water. I hardly drink pop anymore. not even diet. I only drink it when there's nothing else (and no, i can't drink water all the time, because you can't drink water from the focet, at my house, because its well water. it stinks and it tastes bad. Bottled water isn't always available, and we need to get a new water filter for our water filter) SO, I think that losing almost all 20 lbs I gained back, plus building some more muscle, I'm really proud of myself. I CANNOT beilieve that the size 16 pants don't fit me now. ugh.. I'm happy, but she just bought these for me, and they were much needed (plus some of the 18 pants still fit me, as does the one 16, two pair of 18's are actually too small, because of my belly, so PLEASE explain how that many pants can fit that many ways, lmao.

anyways... so that's my weight update, as well as my how am i feeling update, lmao. :)

the pants being too big has seriously motivated me to continue down the road I am on. I thank the Goddess every day that I have the means to do what i need to do to reach all the goals that i want to reach. i shall be a skinny mini, before summer, if I stay the course.

Do your jeans have stretch? I hate jeans with this stretch crap to it. It's like they fit perfect in the morning, and then my ass sags at night. I hate that!!! Grr!!! Old Navy is the only store I can buy jeans that don't have stretch anymore.. not all their stuff fits because they have this habit of doing the LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW waist stuff.. WTF is that stuff? hehe..

Anyway..Congrats!!!

I'm not home too much these days, not even to sleep sometimes.. but I'm on the mode it sets it to when you put the thingie in the machine and hit select, because I'm too dumb to figure out how to switch modes ;)

I've been working my heiney off, and the offset of muscle weight to fat weight continues. My weight has stabilized at 203 for two weeks, yet I managed to lose another inch off of my waist in the past 10 days. I'm down to about about a 34-35 in waist now, where I was about a 38 during the holidays. I have to start target training for my mid section...it sure as hell won't sculpt itself! :wink

My weight has stabilized at 203 for two weeks, yet I managed to lose another inch off of my waist in the past 10 days. I'm down to about about a 34-35 in waist now, where I was about a 38 during the holidays. I have to start target training for my mid section...it sure as hell won't sculpt itself! :wink

I would like to join in on this. My senior year I lost alot of weight but entering college I'm gaining it back...fast. I know it's due to lack of exercise and binging on junk food >.> I see pictures of me at prom and I'm like T_T I want that body back and I need some motivation!

and my back is starting to hurt and I think it's due to the weight gain

as for tips (cause I mean I lost it fast!)

I worked out 4x a week senior year cause of gym class. 30min of cardio and 30min working on one or two muscle groups. I made sure I had veggies with every meal. Also not weighing yourself all the time I think actually works.

When the song is highlighted, press up/down on the pad and it will change difficulties. Srsly, will have to come by very soon to give you the run through tutorial :laugh:. I know it sounds dumb, but there's quite a bit of technique and style that you may also be messing up without realizing (almost all beginners do).

As an update on my fat, I've been working out and watching what I eat. I've lost circumference and yet gained weight...? So yeah, I've been weight training intensely, I'll chalk it up to that. I'm going into ultra mode, full force dieting and working out five days a week, 2-3 days weight training. I COULD take it slow...but I take nothing slow :evil:.

I walked on the treadmil for about 20 minutes when I got home from classes today, which I'm going to start doing that everyday when I get home because I'm exausted and I know I'll sleep good tonight. Bye bye insomnia! Extra motivation is that I started looking at dresses today, and tomorrow I'm going to the other dress shop to see what they have.

All in all I'm feeling good.

Got my first shipment of Acai so now my guinea pig stage can commence.

WOAH!...drink twice as much water as juice...to make sure it is being floated around right ;)

O_M_G did this on accident before the media got a hold of it...she loves the tangy taste of the juice & was working in a kitchen...where they had it for sale...so yeah...just add water...& you know how to eat ;) & try to kick Cherney's ass in the DDR...THAT alone will skinny you up really fast....if you try on a regular basis!

I can't drink juice, it's pill form. I tried the juice a LONG time ago, couldn't get past the taste myself. I am good with the pill form. ;) I will defo drink water, but I'm good about that, I drink at LEAST 8 glasses a day, usually more. I'm using this in conjunction with the DDR w00t! gonna kick ARSE tonight!
