The Biggest Loser DGN Style

Good luck:) How are you doing it?

Thanks!

Started it out with a 4 day lemonade cleanse, and since then I have just been trying to drink at least 32 oz of water (I am bad about drinking water) per day, mostly avoid soda and desserts, refrain from eating after 8 pm, and snack on raw veggies instead of bad stuff. I also have a gazelle at home that I try to do 3-5 days per week for 25-30 minutes.

DDR3 for xBox360? Fuck yeah, I have it also. SEE? People never believe me that it's hard. It's MUCH harder than it looks, most just don't realize it until they actually step up on the mat themselves.

If you want a DDR buddy you should come over! Bring whoever you like, I don't mind. I have a huge cool basement, extra pads, tons of the DDR series, and mad skill to help you out if you'd like.

I should so organize a DGN DDR-fest. I'm thinking that's gonna come on in May possibly when I'm out of school. I can even have prizes for the best skill, etc.

What does everyone think about this?

Oh, btw, Lillylu...DDR4 is out 5/1/10 :animier: . They weren't sure if they were going to release it at first but it's comin' (along with the FIRST DDR ever for PS3 on 3/1/10!)

If you think it is challenging...DO NOT give up! You WILL get better with practice, I promise you! When I started I FAILED my first song miserably and it was THREE step on Light mode! Now I can stomp out anywhere from 6-8 Step on either Standard or Heavy mode for HOURS with near perfection, stick with it! That's my biggest tip! Pounds will MELT if you do since your brain is registering it as "fun" and not "dreadfully boring exercise".

After melting off dozens of pounds you'll join my school of thought in thinking about how silly most girls are for doing their fad "cabbage diets" or "cleaning diets" or "only eat one lettuce leaf a day" diets because you'll be taking off the weight without having to modify diet THAT much and nearly effortlessly. Not to even mention how badass all of the kids at your local arcade will think you are when you go in there and pwn their shit while stomping. Hell, I even got an impromptu photo session and a crowd of almost a dozen people two years ago at Cedar Point when I decided to hit up their DDR Machine in the arcade between roller coasters. Just don't let all the dance fame and fortune get to your head like it did with me . Yes, you CAN get a lot of recognition playing in public and competing in contests...American Fun Center in Oakland Mall actually gives out cash prizes on the spot to people who win their annual tournament.

How often do you exercise and are you eating enough? I say this because from my own personal experience I put my body into starvation mode because I was burning so many calories and not eating enough. I was only eating 900 calories per day before I spoke to my nutritionist who told me I need to eat a lot more for the amount of exercise I was doing. So today since I will be going to KM class I will eat around 1400 calories. Get plenty of water, 64oz or more. And I cannot stress enough about getting enough protein. I get around 100-120 gms of protein per day. The recommended amount is 60-80 for weight-loss but since I lift weights 3 times per week among all the other stuff I do, I get 100-120 grams per day. More veggies and fresh fruit, less bread or starchy foods. If you are gonna have something with a lot of carbs at least let it be good carbs like oatmeal. None of the cleansing diet shit. It's shit, don't do it.All its going to making you do is lose water. Your body needs water. Same with fast food, it's shit don't eat it.

I'm not saying I'm an expert or anything. Just giving your some helpful tips.

the exercise thing is my issue... I am stepping it back up thoe. once we move Im gonna look for some classes to take. I eat pretty good MOST of the time. I dont drink pop anymore. I drink either water, sweettea or my fave G2 fruit punch gatorade( i need to buy stock in this stuff) the last year loseing the weight I have was spent retraining myself what to eat and what to get rid of, thoe i have been slipping the last month. its time to get back on track! LOL now back to DDR!!! muhahahahaha!

SEE? Highly addicting. Heroin in dance steps I say! (with better and healthier results than heroin)

True story: When I first bought DDR for PS2 I could NOT STOP and in the first 72 hours I lost I think it was 5-6 lbs. In those three days I went to the buffet twice and had McDonald's for every other meal besides that. THAT is the true addiction power of DDR .

Now just think of how much weight one could lose WITHOUT the buffet and greasy fast food? That's why they're even incorporating it into most Phys Ed programs in school and Norway recognizes "Machine Dancing" as a legitimate national sport.

This article JUST came out but is something I've been talking about for YEARS (but everyone has always told me I was crazy and wrong about it)

EAT everything organic! Don't buy processed foods at ALL! Avoid plastic! IT'S ALL POISON.

Obesity linked to synthetic "Obesogens" found in processed food and plastic

Wow. That's a crazy article. There's very little way to actually manage to eat healthfully anymore it seems.

I disagree very much with this statement:

Is all this a bit disturbing? You bet. Depressing? Not at all.

Sure it is...if you want to avoid a lot of chemicals, you can eat organic...if you can afford to spend twice as much on everything you eat. And even the term "organic" can be misleading and used on many things that it shouldn't be. In order to really follow these guidelines, you'd have to devote an awful lot of your time to finding and researching safe foods. And even then I'm sure there are some things that are unavoidable. Things like this are incredibly frustrating.

I grow all my own produce in the summertime and we're getting a deep-freeze this summer so that I can go out and bag some deer, birds and fish, and be able to store them.

I'm not buying anything off the US Food Industry anymore if I don't have to. The only thing I'd have to worry about is grain and some fruits (not even all fruits, Boshy grows plenty).
