The downtime of DGN yesterday was due to a double-whammy of problems as its been explained to me by IPS staff. (The company that hosts DGN)

1. There was a technical glitch with one aspect of billing (now corrected)

2. The server DGN was hosted on was subject to a denial of service attack. (Now we are on a different server, this attack wasn't directed at DGN , DGN is on a shared hosting server with many other websites)

I stayed up fairly late last night trying to not go to sleep until it was resolved. But around midnight I got a note that it was being taken care of but that it would take a few hours. Around 2 am I passed out.

DdoS attack? I know some pretty good software for implementing that sort of thing. Not that I have illegal software like that saved on a pass-coded hidden external hard drive or anything.
