Homicidalheathen
religious psychosis Personally I think many contributors to the bible were in fact paranoid delusional or suffering some sort of psychosis... Then again one mans mad is anothers 'perception' I know this guy who admits paranoid dillusional schizophrenia runs in his family... and yet he thinks when he hears god voice tell him to go force his beliefs on people, its ok... Personally I think whoever talked to that burning bush...was on something... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divine_Comedy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dante_Alighieri

e-jewell
My definition of hallucinogenic psychoses is that they're in fact visions. I don't believe that this world is the only world, and those that see alternate realities or hear things are actually more spiritually aware than the rest of us. Sure, it could be harmful to their current, mortal life. But who cares? They are seeing visions of something so much greater. I envy the mad. StormKnight (1)
This topic keep me thinking of XTC's "Dear God" "Dear God, Don’t know if you noticed, But your name is on a lot of quotes in this book. Us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look, And all the people that you made in your image, Still believing that junk is true. Well I know it ain’t and so do you, Dear God," Or a proverb I saw in Warhammer 40,000: 'Only the insane can prosper. Only those who prosper can truly judge what is sane.'
