Homicidalheathen
"Aryan Nation" is a common name in German history? exactly their parents also teach them to lie publicly as they are so obviously racist. Not that they don't have a right ....but those names are dumb. A kid will pick on them, who doesn't know any better..that is the punishment they should not have to be subjected to not foster care when they turn 18 I am sure they will get their names changed...hell maybe this will start something with childrens rights....the right to have your name changed at a young age if its THAT WARRENTED (stupid)
Rev.Reverence
Aryan means "noble", believe it or not. It's not German at all either, it was the name of the people that came and settled in the Indus River Valley in India, and were basically the founders of what we know to be Hindu today. Wrote the Vedas, which were ancient texts. I'm going off the top of my mind, though, if I'm wrong on anything, feel free to correct me. I think you are correct...did you know that the Celtic tribes came from the same area?

You are correct...Aryan is the name of a Tribe of peoples...not an individual person...& I don't think that the ancient Aryans called themselves a "Nation"...as they were quite the nomads for a while...as the Celts were (& some are to this day)... Der Wolf von Krieg
Good Topic! One note, regardless of a childs name, why would it be their fault (parents) if the kids were picked on at school for giving the name? Are children not born not knowing ignorance or hate? SO if a child was picked on would it not be the parents of the child who does the verbal abuse be the one to blame for installing the ignorance onto their child and not that of the parents who named the child? Society loves to point the finger at others for our own faults in excepting people as who they are. Anything different and we talk about it as out of societies norm and have trouble understanding it. The melting pot was a good idea but how many years has it been and we still are faced with hate in this country. Please note that I am not a rascist and do not really agree with the names. I am just sad that todays society has to follow certain unspoken norms or risk being treated differently. I.E. Goths. And as earlier stated I do not blame the one taunting, I blame their parents for teaching the wrong and their fellow friends or peers for not stepping up and saying that is wrong and we are all different and should be accepted for who we are. Just my verbal rantings and thoughts.
Tacohitts
Most of society is crap and the love of apathy and hate does not help either, there are too many in society that like to be violent as well.
candyman
Most of society is crapand the love of apathy and hate does not help either, there are too many in society that like to be violent as well. Apathy is not always bad...its can keep conflict to a minimun and can lead to people that are seeking attention to realise that nobody gives a shit. Also, with the hate, even though racism is a horrible thing I find that many times the reaction by the anti-racists is just as bad if not worse. Reactions are often blown out of proportion and the very people that are fighting the mindless use of generalizations and stereotypes are using those very same tools to "fight back". Nobody listens, nobody cares, they just want a pat on the back for "finding" a racist. I don't know how many time I have heard a person yelling at someone for being a racist because they were too stupid to listen to the other persons comment, or they were too stupid to realize that sometimes people mess up and say things that they don't mean. By violent you mean...what? I don't really see how that has anything to do with racism in this topic. If you mean violence by racist groups I suggest that you update your logs considering most WP groups are all but gone. Hell, the most recent racist action was by the Peckerwoods...and they have 14 members...wow. If you want to talk about violence fine...but here is the thing, and its not racist of me to say this either, the majority of violent crimes are commited by minority gangs. Yes, those are the organized groups of violent people that we should be worried about. Especially since they are growing faster every day, thats partly because the rise in members always follows the economy. Society doesn't like violence...don't confuse movies with real life...however, with real gang violence out there people understand the "Violence and Silence" motto...because if they don't follow it its their ass.
