Wow, and for once I can be sure you don't mean to implicate me! *shakes her rattle, gums on her teddy bear* "Want cookie! Want cookie NOW!"

Of course I would never mean you! :) lol

I meant the screamers, the stalkers, the trailer trash shit talkers, the overly drunken and obnoxious, and so forth :)

Sounds like its a good thing I didn't go.

I don't much care for coming by on Friday since there's usually almost no DGNers, but there's also less riff raff scum on that day as well. Maybe more of us DGNers need to plan a Friday visit? Lol.

I was hoping you were going to rhyme something with "obnoxious", lol.

I couldn't think of anything at the moment =P

That sounds like a good idea.

Sorry to hear some people had a bad night and don't want to go back to CC for a while. That's how I felt after going last Saturday. I like going to CC after not going for a while. I like to dance, and I like socializing with DGNers.

However, it's been way too crowded on the dancefloor lately. Also, people are drunk and rude, and I tend to get shoved around and kicked on a regular basis. Also, I witnessed two girl-fights last week that really put me off from going there for a while. I saw a young black woman get a pitcher of beer dumped on her after getting called a "nigger" by a trashy white woman. *sigh*

I guess I prefer to hang out with DGNers during our other get-togethers. There's some great people on the board, and I like being able to actually chat with them in a low-key setting.

Hence the reason I'm not all gung-ho about going to CC, I go ONLY for DGN night, if there was no such thing as DGN night, you'd never see me step foot in that place again.

And I hardly bring new people anymore, what's the point? So I can say: "yeah, here's the place I go on weekends to hang out with wiggers and preppy girls who stopped by Hot Topic on the way here and listen to extremely played out, non-goth, mainstream music." Embarassing to say the least.

I hope CC shapes up and starts to come back and be the way it used to be, but I don't see that happening. Personally, I've always wanted them to impose a gothic/alternative dress-code so drunk preppy/wigger people who just happen to be wandering around downtown, obnoxious and belligerent, don't stumble upon CC and come up to be tourists and/or poke fun and start fights. Personally, seeing people up there in thug gear or Abercrombie and Birkenstocks is what really ruins it for me, we have to deal with those people in everyday life, us gothic/industrial people shouldn't have to be faced by them when going to OUR special little getaway.

By the sounds of your post, it seems to be getting worse. That's why when my license comes in the mail, probably two weeks, you'll see me at Dead-Line Wednesdays. I'll still come to CC for DGN Night probably once a month (Janurary was a bit much, you'll see us there in Februrary) because I feel obligated, but I like to emphasize on nights that are actually, well, goths/industrial for starters and are actually accomodating to people who are actually gothic/industrial.

Sorry to hear everyone had such a shitty night, too. :grouphug

Uuuuum, yeah..... I got really out of hand at the end of the night.

I apologize for anyone having to see Me crazy like that... It happens on occasion..

The copious amounts of alcohol & lack of proper food intake did not help... At All.

I certainly hope I did not get Me Rev banned from The Club... :no

I fucked up,and I am sorry... I have this tendency to push people till they want to kill Me when I am being illogical.

Since Osaka, the unofficial CC booster, hasn't posted yet, I'd like to say a few words in defense of City Club...

OK, this is harder than I thought...

Alright, here we go.

The music was pretty good and I got to se a few nice people.

Yes, I stood under a pool of light so Eevee could see my face.

I can't help being so pretty, you know :w00t:

And Gimp came up to me.

Very cool.

(Seriously ladies, he's grade A. I'm demanding one of you to take a fork, a knife, and take a bite!)

I think I saw eleven for the first time.

That or it was someone else tearing up the dance floor with glow sticks.

And of course, we went with Rev and OMG, who are always a pleasure to be around.

We left before whatever the hell OMG is talking about happened. OMG, you were funny and friendly when we left.

As far as the complaints, there was a LOT more girly screaming and bad idiotic dancers stepping on my feet than usual.

Maybe the club can issue fashion violations or douchebag citations for the increasing number of jackasses.

At least it would keep them on their toes.

As a bonus, this morning I noticed that the word cunt was on my hand, so licked it and gave it an orgasm.

After all, through thick and thin, my hand has always been there for me.

And sometimes, you just need to give it proper appreciation

I think we should set up a dgn night once a week away from the clubs!

    • ~~~~~ Yeah, thank you for the check-in.   Happy to say it was all a misunderstanding.  But she pulled out her "ghetto" and that's when things went South.  I get very professional minded when I enter into situations like that because when someone starts bring the court into conversations, I'm in court 2 times a year, every year, so don't go there with me because I will get legal all over you.   She did try to change what she thought she might have said, but I had to call her on it because it's all in written text.  Then she apologized and we were able to have a decent conversation.   I know I joke about me talking so much that people don't hear what I say except for keywords that they are looking for, but that is exactly what happened here.  She heard "payment", "money" and "help out".  It was crazy.  I literally had to have the entire conversation all over again, but I definitely condensed it to only address those 3 words.   Things are back on track, but I emphasized that if she every needed clarification for anything, please say something first instead of jumping to conclusions, then questioning that conclusion, then answering that conclusion, then getting upset at the answer and taking it out on someone who doesn't have a clue what the San Juan Hill just happened.   But this is exactly the reason I do everything with a paper trail.

    • I'm glad  that yesterday's day at work is long gone now. There was a very strong unusual energy that I felt, and couldn't get done with the day fast enough. It wasn't  the job at all. I just felt like I really needed to keep my mouth shut, to keep me from getting in situation(s) that probably wouldn't have ended well for me.
    • You can trust anyone you want.  The only question is whether or not they're deserving of that trust. No risk = no reward.  As such you have to let yourself be vulnerable sometimes and realize that all people will let you down eventually whether it's intentional or not.  The frequency that it happens is what's important.
    • Sorry, I don't check this as often as I should. Anyway document everything (although it sounds like @Trene4000already has been from her post.) It's okay to cry and break down, but not in front of them.  Never give them the satisfaction of seeing you crack.  If anything I'd go out of my way to piss them off, but I don't like being that guy either (and as such I'm not very good at it, except sometimes when I'm not intending to be.) I try to only help those whom deserve it, but that's often hard to judge.  Seeing how someone treats other people is a pretty good indicator of whether or not they're worthy.  Sociopathic narcissistic asshats are very much not worthy. I hope things are going well for you guys.
