Guest greyhalo
I have two tics for the April 25 show in Chicago. I was planning on bringing my brother with me, but he can't make it that weekend. So, is anyone possibly interested in going with me? PM me if you are. fish
just in case anyone missed out before they sold out there is a second show. I don't believe this has been "officially" announced yet but it is on sunday the 26th. tix and info are the same as the 25th show. they still have the vip passes etc for those interested @ ticketweb.com. i'm sure once they announce it they will sell out in a day like the others did. mauraway
The second show has been announced, at least in Chicago. There hasn't been much advertising for Throbbing Gristle, but that's possibly a good thing for people who want tickets. mauraway MI Goth- Industrial Rideboard + MI events listing http://www.umich.edu/~mauraway/rideboard.html

mauraway
Because some people will be traveling long distances for this, I thought I better get the word out. There has been a venue change for next Sat/Sun [April 25/26] Throbbing Gristle concerts. Mainly due to "the growing objections from the parishioners of the Epiphany to the priest objecting to Throbbing Gristle performing at this working church", the concerts have been moved to a new location. The tickets already issued will be honored. Saturday is sold out, but tickets for Sunday are still available. New location: Logan Square Auditorium 2539 N. Kedzie Ave. Chicago, IL www.lsachicago.com

Guest greyhalo
Necromanta and I spent an interesting day in Chicago. But, we did get to see TG, even though they were brief. Genesis is a plump old lady now.

fish
did u guys go to both shows that night or just 1? i had a great time except for when i was standing in line outside during the downpour before show 1. briefly met the band. gen was a little freaky but peter christopherson was very very friendly and being a gigantic coil fan that made my night. this person has a good portion of the 10pm show up on youtube now: http://www.youtube.com/user/darewon

The VIP tics were already sold out by the time I got online to make my purchase. We had a good time, but I honestly wish we could have seen the 10 pm show too. We left feeling a little "cheated." fish
that's too bad. the second show was the better performance. but at least what you saw was one of the rarer TG shows that not everyone will be able to see. i have a pretty good audio recording of their san fran set on mp3, and i believe it was the same setlist as the 10pm chicago show so if you'd like to hear what you missed out on let me know. it went something like: Very Friendly Persuasion Something Came Over Me Live Ray Hamburger Lady Almost A Kiss Springbankistan Endless Not What A Day Discipline
