Circus Obscene/DGN Appreciation Night/Spook's B'day Aftermath

The evening started with Oblivion rehearsing for some upcoming shows (IvyCat can give details on those) and some photo shoots. It's great to be working with Kirk again who should be joining DGN soon.

After rehearsals, The Ritz opened their doors for Circus Obscene. I was hanging with IvyCat and Ice Queen and up walks TaysteeWonderBunny with ... CHEESECAKE! We relocated to some tables and socialized as more people showed up: StormKnight, The Gimp, and later in the night SkyFire and Eleven. Of course the CyberTrybe gang (evilfish, ~kitty, ez2cy) was all there too and Scary Guy was looming around complaining about the music as always ("NIN? Again! Oh, here comes another Ramstein.")

At midnight, The Gimp did his second suspension and he hung about 4 feet off the ground with hooks in his back. We dug into the cheesecake at about that time. It was very yummy. Creamy and sour, just how I like it. Ice Queen gave me a few birthday spankings with her new paddle. Ouch!

All in all it was a great night. I got to hang out with some hot chicks, I ate some wonderful cheesecake, people were buying me drinks all night, the company was friendly, I had a pretty hot make out session, and at the end of the night I got to tie someone up and parade her around the club like a pet. Yay!

I had a good time. It was nice to meet some new people. I'm very, very glad Spook liked his cheesecake; I'm a firm believer that no birthday should go uncelebrated or sans fattening. The night was very interesting as I was able to experience new things. Shibari and body piercing get the thumbs up; the suspension was a little much for me, but, Gimp, I commend you for your bravery and tolerance--way to go!

The night was amazing!! Like Spook said it started with an OBLIVION rehearsal before the doors opened.. and athen we all got pretty for the photo shoot!! the boys were hot! I GOT whipped by Spook and Kirk.. (he will join DGN soon) KIRK IS AWESOME!

after the doors opened, i actually got tied up to a chair and all the boys from the troop were taking turns "abusing the girl in ropes" heheh it was funny

THen as Spook said we all gathered by the tables and drank, danced and had a really awesome time... THANKS FOR CHEESCAKE.. i know it was for Spook! but it was awesome

I met new people, got to use a very heavy flogger on an appreciative backside, broke in my beautiful new paddle, and got to enjoy a piece of cheesecake thanks to the lovely Tasteywonderbunny! Nix was sick that night so no awesome DJ sets. The Evil Fish and Kitty kept telling me to go home and grab my shit, but they started doing that at 10:30 which was kind of late. Since I'll be there every week now I'll just take my CD's with me "just in case" and hope the house equipment holds out (they use laptops for a reason there I'm sure).

Still in the first hour and a half I heard one NIN cover, and three songs, one was a regular song back to back with a mix, 5 prodigy, 3 ministry, and one HIM (which I requested because he usually wears a HIM stocking cap and I never hear any there, which is kind of annoying just because he's sporting the band but not playing the music).

I bitch for a reason guys, if he wasn't a shitty DJ, I WOULDN'T BITCH!

I'm going tonight for the SPAG show which I hope DJ SPAG is spinning at. I'm sure the tunes will be MUCH better than yesterday. Despite the music there are some good people there and all should go or at least make an attempt to.

(I tend to not even pay attention to the music playing, it helps in my enjoyment of the night more. Though I wish it was remedied by someone else being in the booth....until then I will carry on as I always have. It won't stop me from going)

Well I just want to say thank you all that came out - DGN nights are my favorite night at CO - wishing every night was DGN night. I was a little sad that hunhee didn't come out but totally understand why.

I had to drink lots of water before I drove home - I had 1 to 6 drinks too many lol. Next we is suppose to be pretty cool - I think Xillia will inform as to what is going on. Again, I don't "Run" things anymore but I'm still involved and will be up there fashionably late of course.

It was a bit overwhelming for Sean and I, as we are NOT running the night anymore...but had the night fall in our laps because Nix was ill, and Vandl had serious car issues. Sandy cannot run the night behind the bar. Poor thing.

We did not get to relax and hang out like we had planned, and instead ended up circling (or half circling because by the time we would get so far we had to turn back...) the bar all night long. We had friends show up just to hang out with us, and they ended up leaving before we ever got a chance to sit with them. Huge bummer.

I am a serious light weight, so I am sure at the end of the night after 3 beers I was a bit silly/stupid. My apologies!
