DGN @ City Club, Saturday, March 7th

Recommended Posts

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

Leland City Club

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We've had reports that the CC parking lot will not break $20 bills or larger, so try to bring smaller bills with you.

Zoom able map to City Club.

MDOT lane closures

(The map isn't quite exact. The Leland is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.)

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

Note:

If your NOT going this isn't the place to post about it.

If ARE going (or likely going) to CITY CLUB ON SATURDAY this is where you let us know and we encourage you to do so. Not about some other place, some other club or some other thing your doing instead.

Posts that are off topic should be avoided , and may be deleted in pinned topics.

I plan on drifting down from one to the other just like the March weather flirts between winter and spring.

I might make an appearance after the performance at The Works

I probably shouldn't, because I have more moving to do and I should get some rest, but.....I'm probably going to want to go out a celebrate a successful night.

im thinking im going to do the same.

when do you turn the club clocks ahead? because since the clock is going *forward*, it would be like the club only being open until 3:30am. clocks are supposed to be turned forward at 3am, (search for Mar. 9th, near the bottom of the chart) which means that when it hits 3am, it will be 4am, also meaning you would only be open another half-hour.

just want to be sure things are clear for the club-goers...

I thought this was settled already.

Yes, one minute past 1:59 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2009, it will suddenly be 3:00 a.m., consequently City Club will be open until 5:30 a.m. in order to give heavy drinkers and Eveready Bunnies time to sober up or wind down or whatever it is you need do that is better done 2.5 hours past last call as opposed to 1.5 hours after. Yup, yup.

So, um, why don't you drive out from Kazoo and join us in witnessing this bizarre little time warp, eh?
