My dilemma and the answer that was handed to me!

So I got off the phone with Wilhelm earlier and he says I can do both. So it looks like I'll be doing two nights a week! He didn't like the fact that they are back to back but he is willing to try it out (which is more than other clubs would consider doing).

So I'll be cross promoting like crazy and going insane trying to promote for two nights instead of just the one. However I think that it is TOTALLY WORTH IT!

This would have been a very hard decision for me to make and I'm glad that now I don't have to make it. Mostly because I have a lot of friends at both clubs. So this means even more cash in my pocket (which is good considering I don't have a day job), I get to play two different yet similar things to two different yet similar crowds (separate but equal), and I get to help the scene out even more by doing so (which I love doing!)

It also looks like I may be doing some sound work again at I-Rock, which I can really use the cash to fix up my car. Hopefully this all continues to work out as I plan.

I mean I totally get why he wanted me to only do one night. But I want everyone to try to make both nights as best as they can because each night offers something just a little different (they both have food though which makes me happy).

Oh yeah NEXT Sunday I'm also DJ'ing on Nachtlich again, so be sure to tune in for that. It will be on the air TONIGHT starting at I think 9:00 ish or something I don't know. Check the website at www.nachtlich.com

That's about it, I just wanted to share the good news with everyone and promote it. So come see me March 4th at The Works and March 5th at The Ritz for Dead-Line and Circus Obscene (respectively).

Yay!!!!! I'm so glad! I will definitely see you on Wednesday then!

I'm so glad that now I don't have to stay away from Deadline for a few weeks to protest...hahaha. ;)

I appreciate the sentiment believe me, however you shouldn't stay away at all. I mean there are so many good people there and not just the DJ's but the rest of the staff as well.

BTW you do know Wilhelm, he's usually working the door. I work the door too on occasion to give him a break. Hopefully he can spin more because of this too.

Nice fix :). Pest and I are trying to make it out to Dead-Line this Wednesday, money shouldn't be a problem this week (especially not with those awesome prices), the only thing that usually is impeding to me is wardrobe, other things scheduled, and if Pest has homework for any of his classes. So when we're sure that kind of stuff is out of the way, I'll post and say whether I'm going for sure or not (but most likely will be). Probably bringing Constantin too, hell, why the fuck not?

unfortunately i did not have web access until now so i could not reply to all the drama that went down in the other thread which is now locked.

so here we go...

the reason i had an issue with scary djing both nights was because the nights were back to back. it had nothing to do with it being a different club. i feel a dj's draw will be split if he is djing similar club nights back to back.

as far as never being at my own event goes, i have been there every week (minus the 1 i was sick). i rarely dj because we are currently only doing 1 room and there is not enough time for all the residents to play, so i give up my time to let everyone else play.

in regards to saint's comment, he's his own person, he has his own opinions.

the works has no issue with fetish performers nor do i (obviously since we have a fetish style event there this saturday by oblivion... plug)

after reading through the threads of drama i feel pleasure kitten/kat made the best/most intelligent comment.

the business between scary guy & myself should have NEVER been posted here.

regardless, all is well and scary is doing both nights.

I am SO happy for you Scary. I will try and pay more attention on sites/places like Myspace and help promote Deadline Wednesdays as well. This can work!

I have been wanting to get my arse to Deadline for quite some time now.

Now that we are not running CO and our schedule has been freed up some, I am going to make a serious attempt to make it out....NEXT Wednesday. And seriously...I need a new scene. I miss going to City Club, I have only been to Necto once...etc. etc. etc.

This Wednesday we have plans, a farewell get together for a dear friend who is moving to Texas.

and we want Blackberry Mojitos.

...that is...unless Deadline has Blackberry Mojitos....
