Blackbird, Andrew Jackson b. 1815 d. September 7, 1908

Native American. He was an important figure in the history of the Odawa (Ottawa) tribe and was the son of a chief. His name was "MACK-E-TE-BE-NESSY". Educated in the traditions of the Odawa he also attended Euro-American schools including present-day Eastern Michigan University.
