And I will make one thing very clear - I am not a Democrat nor Republican. I am pro let's stop all this bullshit and fix things so no more poeple have to suffer.

If Obama get's it right then cool. If it takes longer than we'd like, so be it.

But we can't afford eight more years of what we've already gone through.

This is the kind of thing that makes me kinda like Obama (sorry Gaf) http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090306/ap_on_...bama_stem_cells

Right in time for it to be moot on a scientific level. It sure will get him some more mindless followers... but it wont help anyone medically... or did you forget all the advances in non-fetal stems cells that have happened in the last 8 years?

If he were to do things right, I'd be right there supporting him. He isn't.

Like I said... even his good deeds dont go unpunished.... you have made up your mind mate.... there is nothing he will be able to do no matter how good, to change it.

You know, your right. I have made up my mind about him. He has given too much evidence to support my view of him and nothing in the way of evidence to prove I am wrong.

The question now is: Is he intentionally trying to destroy my country or is he just a moron in over his head.

Either way, there wont be a country to fight over by the end of his term.

Yes, when he stops acting like the Anti-Christ... I'll stop thinking he is the Anti-Christ.

Actually, unless I'm mistaken the rapture would have to happen before the AC comes to power. And he would have to be embraced by nearly everyone. Which is clearly not true. Hell, you wouldn't like him if he was wrapped in a blowjob (not exactly sure what that means other than blowjobs are great).

I don't like green eggs & ham. Doesn't mean that I have to.

NO Gaf...you are incorrect...there are 3 very public versions to the myth of the rapture.

It's almost like someone made the whole thing up and couldn't keep their story straight.

I'm also glad everyone likes a blowjob

It IS almost like that.....except they did not make it up....it was "conflicting visions"...in other words...they got the point...but missed the details...peoples often imprint their egos upon Holy Illuminated Inspirations...then start wars over the misinterpretations ;) ie. the mid-east.

I'm also glad everyone likes a blowjob

I know some one who does not like them.......he's WEIRD!

Actually - The rapture is man made, that's why there are several versions.... it isn't written anywhere in the bible - it appeared in sermons and lectures in the 1800's.... but lets not change the subject. I see a lot of people adding their two cents in here and not actually addressing the topic head on... fact, you can't connect Bush directly to this problem.... Fact.... the republicans did warn of this coming and the then (and now) dominated democratic legislation blocked every attempt to fix it by the republicans. This problem actually started during Carters administration and every democrat in office amplified it since then.

I don't see anywhere in this thread that blames Obama yet accuses his polices to do more harm than good which is correct. Everything he has either done or proposes has been deemed harmful and dangerous to the economy by all the leading economist and has shown in the stock market thus far.

I respect peoples opinions and I myself am more or less a centralist.... leaning more to the right now and probably will more in the near future. What I don't respect is opinions made by watching CNN or propaganda and it is very clear that a lot that has been written on here isn't based on research. Most of these comments made here are very transparent and it is obvious that most here have no idea what has been happening in congress and what bills have passed or squashed. Seems a lot here want to rush in and support Obama and dis Bush but know nothing about economics or the track record of either party.

I think Bush is going to be criticized for going into Iraq but honestly, his polices weren't bad they just were blocked - but you're not going to hear about that on CNN or MSNBC. So if you rely on Myspace and stupid SNL parodies to form your opinion then don't bother stating them because they're based on BS.

..the bible is a mish mash of legend, myth, & visions...supposedly divinely inspired.

...& somewhat stolen bit now & again...the thing is that it tries to teach something...so do those visions..they were just bent to the ego of some asshats.

On subject...blaming peoples rarely rectifies the situation.

I don't hold any one person or party responsible for these current problems.

B's lil' wars over in the mid-east did not do much to add to the economy...it was a money sink for sure.

(whether or not it needed to be done withstanding) It was not done RIGHT...no-bid contractors & such...

{{the peoples forget the staggering # of $ per day we spend doing that because this house thing hits closer to home}}

[pun intended]

I am not sure that either party is acting in anything but a pre-choreographed & concerted effort.

I have major beef with the media for reporting things in a skewed light...bringing up other shit to cover the shit we found out last week...till it's a pile of shit....I mean...it's a big ass pile of shit...

Again "If you don't watch the news you are uninformed. If you watch the news you are misinformed"

There are websites and publications that report legislation in an honest non-bias fashion. The Wall Street Journal is a very good resource in whats going on with the economy and why. All you have to do is follow the trail. I don't rely on any televised media... CNN or FOX. I also read blogs and articles written by non-bias political annalist and economist.

The media has forgotten how to be journalist. They have forgotten how to report news in a truly non-bias way. The media really is liberal heavy and that isn't fair to Republicans and Democrats alike. Republicans aren't being reported on fairly and Democrats are being extremely misinformed. I have spotted out right lies being reported by CNN and MSNBC. I have seen them totally misrepresent legislation and events. (Right after watching CSPAN live... the horses mouth per say) Since when is the news all commentary and no reporting? The anchormen and reporters are now allowed to put in their own comments and two cents all over the place - that isn't reporting... that is subtle brainwashing - planting their own opinions in American heads THAT is wrong. You should be allowed to form you're own opinion - not be "dummed" down.

(The following is not directed to ScaryGuy but to post under his.)

As for the economy NOT being one party's fault - well, I'm sorry but if you want to throw down percentages, bills passed, not passed.... and so forth - it points to past Democrats in office. And I'm not talking about the President - I'm talking about from small government on up. People are so quick to point the finger at one man when that isn't how this system works... there are checks and balances in place all over for this very reason.... why we AREN'T a Monarchy. But again... people that point their finger at one person are normally people who DON'T research and have at the most, a vague understanding on how our government works.

Some of you bring up the war cost - sure... that is a cost the Government has to swallow but if you compare the total war cost a year with the total cost of social programs that democrats put in place.... the comparison is outstanding! You could almost spend another third of what the war cost on the war - get rid of the useless social programs that don't work and, as a total - the government would be spending less money. But again - that wont get reported and you'd have to actually research this to see it.

What bothers me the most about democrats is not their policies but rather their demeanor and mentality! (Not all but a vast majority) I have seen what should have been a clean and honest debate between liberals and conservatives on line in forums and political web sites become shit flinging fest from liberals. Instead of debating with legitimate and well researched facts, they tend to not answer any questions asked of them and instead start calling people fags and the like. Acting like little spoiled children. Oh don't get me wrong - I know republicans can and have done the same but not coming anywhere near the crap I see from democrats. But I guess that's what you can expect from a bunch of people claiming to be in poverty and crying for hand outs yet somehow they are at home, online on their lap top.

The other thing that truly bothers me is the overwhelming trust and blind following of idiots like Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and Al Gore. Al Gore is a true idiot - I don't even see how he ever got to be the vice president in the first place but you know what - actors are just that actors... that should be the first red flag in your face... they are paid to act not think. They don't have the qualifications to say what is right or wrong for the country - they do have the qualifications and the talent to Bull Shit and they do it quite well - and most idiots buy into it. Whats even scarier is people are more interested in the likes of Britney Spears and Micheal Jackson than what is going on with their country until they have a problem paying for a tank of gas.... then all hell breaks lose.... the hell should have broken lose 30 years ago but Americans weren't watching and listening. This blind following and trust is a lot like what I see in this "Obama craze".... its almost like looking at a cult for gods sake. It is absolutely idiotic! Like those rodents that fling themselves over a cliff because the first one did it. We shouldn't be in such a rush to make history by electing a African American President - we should have been looking at the issues and electing a President that actually had a good idea on how to do it. But hey - it will all come out in the wash right?

Oh yeah..I forgot that the root of the REAL problem right now was...a WHOLE LOT of peoples living beyond their means. I see this on both sides of the political fence as well as both sides of the poverty line.

THEN a whole bunch of rich dudes (read CEOs & CREW)...sent the jobs away that these workers were so diligently attending to (I know many such workers personally)...they sent them away so they could make more money...

MONEY (actually the "love of/LUST AFTER" of money) is the particular root of this evil.

FUNNY...that mostly Protestant Christians are at the top of this particular pyramid. (When you consider the etymology.)
