SANDUSKY, Ohio (WXYZ) - Cedar Point Amusement Park is looking for 4,500 seasonal employees. The facility needs to fill the positions in time for the park's opening in May. The available jobs are in almost every department at the park, and includes positions in food service, admissions and room attendants at the hotel. Anyone interested must complete on online application at the Cedar Point website. The park is also holding open interviews from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28 and Saturday, March 28 at the Breakers Express Hotel. That's located at 1201 Cedar Point Drive in Sandusky . Compensation for the positions starts at $7.30 an hour. Employees under the age of 16 will start out at $6.55 an hour and will increase to $7.25 an hour by the end of July. Other benefits include low cost housing for employees who are at least 18-years-old and live more than 25 miles from the park, an on-site employee cafeteria, free uniform exchange, recreation center and extensive employee activity program.
