taysteewonderbunny
This weekend was very serendipitous on the shoe front for me. I bought a fun pair of patent leather open toes on Friday from.......................(dun dun dun) Value Village. They were brand new and only $8.20. Then, Saturday, I stumbled across My Shoe Closet (on S. Washington in RO) during their 75% off sale and walked off with four pair for $125. Two pairs boots (one pair only cost me $25, the taller brown boots were $62) and two pairs shoes ($21.50 and $22.50 after reduction). Yay! I think the sale is only through next Friday. I'd have bought more, but most of the truly adorable shoes were only in stock in size 6, 7 and 9. (I have humongous size 11 feets.) If you can, go. If the owner (Rod) is there, you can likely talk him into taking additional discounts off of multiple pairs of shoes. He's eager to clear out the old stock--Saturday next they will be getting all new shipments.
Homicidalheathen
DSW Journeys Steve Madden On line order...Demonia. I may buy most everything at resale, EXCEPT shoes. Dont get cheap there...I have fallen arches...I have to wear them in myself. No warts...foot fungus...shoes are just NOT something you take chances with. Occasionally I will find a good pair of sneakers at Payless.

jynxxxedangel
I'm one of those brave sole sisters who buys vintage shoes. I always wipe down the insoles with a strong bleach solution; then I spray the FECK outta the insides with Lysol, and let them fumigate in quarantine for a few days. I haven't gotten any cooties, yet.
FarrIL
I get my boots from Demonia, when I worked at Hot Topic. The discount was epic. Demonia is practically my favourite brand of boot/shoe. Boots, amazing, and I have two pairs of sneakers (( one pair pare are knee-highs! )).
Destroit
Will usually special order them from Demonia. Occasionally I'll find a nice pair at a thrift store, but it's rare. If I need work shoes or heels for work then I'll just stop off at some mainstream outlet place like Payless.
