Gaf The Horse With Tears
So, I'm trying the beta of Windows 7 Ultimate out. Wow, this is what Vista should have been. Fast. Very Very Fast. I uninstalled IE8, Media Center and a few other windows components that I am not going to use and it didn;t really have an impact on how fast it is. Cause it's damn fast. No crashes yet, but I am only trying it out for today.. have to hookup my primary hard disk in abit but I will be running it off and on... I 'll let you know what I think later. Onyx
interesting. Does it look like it's going to require more ram added to run well?

Gaf The Horse With Tears
interesting. Does it look like it's going to require more ram added to run well? No, same system requirments as Vista... just way faster.
TitsMcGee
this is why i never upgraded to vista
Oh_My_Goth
No, same system requirments as Vista... just way faster. Me 'puter box came w/ Vista, but perhaps it's time to change.. All Rev's music stuff needs special programs to work w/ Vista.. It's a pain in the ass & takes up space.

Msterbeau
More seriously: http://www.pcworld.com/article/152991/os_x..._windows_7.html It's interesting that the next releases for both OS X and Windows are more about performance and under the hood types of enhancements then anything else.
