prick
The warm weather is upon us. What do you like to do in the summer. I cracked open my camper on sunday. I like to camp, fish, horse back ride, canoeing, hiking, swimming, off roading, and enjoy the shooting sports.
pomba gira
I spent most weekends last summer at Cherry Lane (adult nudist camp). I'll miss it this summer... the membership & trailer both belong to Josh so it would cost me to go and I'd have nowhere to stay... bummer.

Destroit
It's funny that this thread should come up because I'm literally in the process of planning this years's OFFICIAL DGN (yes, I got official permission for this year to call it an official DGN event ) Camping Trip (i.e. MANFAST!). It will rule, this year will be from July 10-12th at Brighton State Park, hope to see tons of you there . Watch for the thread regarding informations and how to go about reserving your lot before the week is up, most likely tomorrow or Wednesday, actually. Was a totally awesome fun and affordable weekend last year. Edited March 17, 2009 by Chernobyl
Guest Megalicious
School, work, a trip home, and Keegan. I would love to take him fishing or camping. We will probably go to the water park a few times as we did last year and of course The the usual: The Arb, The hands on Museum, more trips to Detroit, The DIA, A few County Parks, swimming, bubble blowing in the park right next to us, U of M's botanical gardens, canoeing on the river, and hunting for Keegan's ever growing rock collection (its more like pebbles LOL). Nightgaunt
I really like just relaxing in the back yard with friends, tossing a ton of food on the barbeque and sipping on good beer.

What fun is the outdoors without a little skin cancer? Just do what I do and reflect the sunlight...glowing white skin attracts fish too! Oh and I can't wait to do this: Edited March 17, 2009 by candyman
StormKnight (1)
If I could, (and things I miss from years gone by): -Running on the beach -Snorkeling -Surfing -Enjoying the sun with minimal amount of clothing (shorts, footwear(sometimes optional,) shirt as needed.) -Hot summer rains -Certain activities in said rain with a willing woman (or in a pond, body of water, beach like "From Here to Eternity.") -Sunbathing (hey, I have some resistance to UV.) candyman
Oh I almost forgot to mention SUMMERFEST! This year, I can drink, which might just make things worse. But Weird Al is probably coming again...along with all of the other awesome free concerts...Matisyahu, Hed PE, and Skindred might be coming too...haven't seen Hed PE for a long time...I hope they are still funky and haven't fallen into a pit of political shit rock! Destroit
Holy shit, I did the math and yeah apparantly the economy IS down drastically from last summer because for those who plan on going to Official DGN Camping this year....it will only be EIGHT DOLLARS per person, for the weekend. Well, not including cars, but DAMN...that's much cheaper than last year. Not to mention how cheap gas and beer is, we're probably going to have an awesome turn-out this year. I guess in the summer I garden a bunch, that's really the only different thing I do. Oh wait, I get up every morning before God does even and I catch unsuspecting fish on a line so that I may eat them...while drinking beer. Laws of fishing states that the more beer consumed then the more fish the fisherman catches. Edited March 17, 2009 by Chernobyl
industrial_girl_2000
Wow, great thread, especially today. All that warm sunshine is making me giddy today. Summertime: biking to work. It's only 3 miles one way, and is a nice way to avoid spending money on gas. I also like to bike to the grocery, pet, or hardware stores for essentials. The hardest part is sometimes finding a place to lock up the bike.

Simon Bar Sinister
In addition to things others have mentioned, I like to take my guitar to Pontiac Lake, find a picnic table in the shade and sing, as well as work on new songs. #@!
