Vacuum Cleaner Died

Recommended Posts

I have killed yet another vacuum cleaner. I need a good affordable vacuum cleaner that will pick up pet hair. We have a lot of pet hair here and the vacuum cleaners I have had in the past just won't hold up. Can someone recommend a good vacuum for pet hair?

Lots of hair? Thick hair?

Well, I use a pair of rubber gloves and rub my hands along surfaces that aren't too big. It rolls the hair into "ribbons" that you can pick up.

A shop vac is pretty much the only thing with enough power to pick up all that hair. It also doesn't have stuff for the hair to tangel into and clog. Also, there are no bags to buy for most brands, just dump them out.

Another things is that most hair sticks because of static cling or something...so if you get it we it usually comes out easier. The only problem it that those vacuums are expensive and need lots of attention so that they don't break.
