This sounds like its her problem....and you shouldn't try to rescue her if she hasn't asked.

Its nice to see someone care, but don't take it too far...sometimes helping hurts more than it helps....and if you're into her or want to date her, or just want to help in any way....wait until she asks for it.

And if you offer her everything, and it still doesn't do any good and she stays with this guy, don't worry about it any farther....

She can pick up her blanket and walk off....(meaning shes not cripple)

Also shooting someone isn't a way to solve anything.

.17 HMR would probably be close. In all seriousness though, from what you've said so far it doesn't seem like she's doing too much to help herself really. I'm gonna agree with the last few posters and say "Run.". I should also have mentioned that I was once in a similar situation, and only leaving the individual in question to figure it out seemed to help.
