It turns out that HW is going to be arriving that weekend!

I need to run it by him, to see if he wants to camp out, or just visit..

I could offer a nice cozy camper bed if he doesnt like tents. But my guess is he wants quality wife time! :w00t:

I'm thinking that if we do show, we will need a place to sleep for the night. So what we might do, is pay the 15 bucks lot rental and split with someone, and bring the tent along for the one night. Does anyone remember if you can self-register and pay for parking after hours? I don't know what time we'd be rolling up.

Other state parks allow after hours rental so I dont see why not.

WHO STILL NEEDS A LOT MATE?? We're willing to go in halfsies, even though we'd only be staying for one night!

I'm pretty sure we'd be able to check you in. Not sure if I'd be able to if you did it under your name, but if you sent it to my Paypal it would be under my name and that's how I did it last year, checked everyone's lots in at once. If you made it under your name even you may be able to tell them that I'm checking the lot in for you, I'd have to call on that if you'd like me to.

I will TRY to make it this year. I own a tent, but have never put it together, and I've had it four years. :unsure: I got it free. I put you on my schedule. I cannot speak for the other people who may or may not be in my party. :)

I can help you with your tent. I'm gonna try like hell to be there since I live around the corner lol

Nope, thats wealth! I still do hard core camping with bears and shitting in a hole but brighton isnt hard core so might as well enjoy with comfort.

I want to camp with you and the bears. Haven't done that in a few years... you hunt?

In other words, we would be paying for half of the lot for the entire weekend, but we would only be there for one overnight stay.

My single self is debating on going. There are a couple factors that I must figure out. Though my cuz, and Cher make it sound like it will be a blast. We will see :)

Of course, I can be persuaded sometimes by the opposite sex :p

Kay, so apparantly Troy was teh awesome and mass PMed EVERYONE letting them know how BAMF this trip will be (so much so that I just changed "BAMF" from a noun into an adjective). I log in this morning and was promptly bukkaked with PMs from all of you eager people wanting to know how you can embark on this epic journey of extreme woodland gothness, meaning that tonight I'm going to sit down and sort alllll this out and PM ALL OF YOU. So expect it. I promise. You can come to my house and beat me if I don't.

ALSO letting you know that I checked on the status of the lots being filled this morning (by non-DGN people) and I'm VERY pleased to announce that the recession must be hitting harder than I thought because ALL of the lots are still empty and reservable.

AND I'm posting to let Jynxxxed know that I did not forget about her and her question, but have been uber busy (I had to spend the last two days painting my condo because we're trying to sell it) and will answer her question tomorrow. Also letting her know that you are able to make one day reservations if you want, if you find a couple who ALSO wants to only go for one day...OR you can find someone who is going for two days and pay them off for the extra night that you won't be there. Or work it out however clever way you damn well please, just let me know, and let me know if you need help any more help arranging things. You were fun last year and Mr. Wreck and I still have not met, he's been in America twice and has successfully dodged me, but we won't let that happen again!

Annnd any other questions, etc, from anyone, please direct them to my PM box. There are no stupid questions, only stupid people, do not be shy. Thanks everyone.

Actually, even though I never formally asked if you'd like to join us, I already put you on the list along with Constantin, who is also going and may or may not know yet.
