Anyone interested in a roomate?

My move to Detroit is going to be a bit different than originally planned. The financial situation simply isn't going to let it happen the way it was supposed to. Here is my dilemma:

I am having a hard time coming up with first month, last month, and security deposit on a new place. I have a job offer, but cannot take it until I have a place to stay so that I can actually GET to the job. I cannot get the place without the job...LOL It's a catch 22. What is going to have to happen is this (at least as it stands, this seems to be the only way. I am open to suggestions): I will come up by myself with a few belongings. Whatever I can pack into a van for one trip up. I would find a "sleeping room / pay by the week" type of scenario, until I get a first paycheck. Which should be a month from my arrival at the latest. Possibly two weeks, depending on the pay scale. After the month, I will send for my wife and the rest of our stuff, move into your new place and that is that. I cannot stay with anyone from the band, because they all live with parents / grandparents. My guitarist's mother owns property, and will be able to get me set up with no problem, but I need the cash to move in.

So here is what I am asking here: Is there anyone on this board that would be willing to room with me for that first month? I cannot afford much, but I will do EVERYTHING possible financially to help out, and I will be gone completely as soon as I get the keys to my own place. If not, is there anyone with any ideas? Please, anyone with anything get ahold of me. Either on here, through PM, or email. darkened_charm_2005@yahoo.com. I don't want to have to live in one of those by-the-week sleeping rooms, but I will do it if I have to.

Thank you so much to the people that have responded in private to this. I will get to those leads tonight. As for everyone else reading, if you have ideas or are willing to help out, please don't hesitate to contact me. I need plenty of options here, in case one or all of what I have doesn't pan out for whatever reason.

might sound a bit odd, but if it's in the summer, why not camp? very cheap, showers/restrooms, mailing address, and the joy of being out in nature! i'm thinking of doing that for some months, if i ever move to florida...

Actually, I seem to have it worked out. That is...If the person who is hooking me up would all me back so we can get all the details worked out. LOL But no...that doesn't sound odd at all. I have had friends that have done that. I appreciate the info tho. Thank you. It's a great idea, I just have it all worked out at this point.
