Is it just me? or is it HORRIDLY ANNOYING to open up myspace bulletins, texts, Inbox messages on your email and receive online messages stating "I'm SOO BOREDDDD omg HELP MEEE"

o_O

I'd like to inquire all of you.

I don't know if its just me,.....But I find that being bored is almost impossible.

Although I do live in Fenton, and I always have to find something to do, to keep from going insane...so being bored isn't an option.

hrmmm....

It just bugs me.

What say you?

Well, I get bored. When I am, and it isn't often, it's usually one of those situations where I could think of a kazillion things I'd rather be doing, but can't, either because of some other obligation or because I'm dealing with a situation the resolution of which is dependent upon someone or something over which I've no control. Consequently, I hunger for distraction, usually of the conversational sort. I can understand being bored. I treat such complaints as requests for companionship and respond accordingly.

I don't often get bored, because I'm CONSTANTLY on the go, the people I'm close to can attest to this. I always fill my day with endless activities that when I actually DO get a free second, I pass out from exhaustion.

Hell, if you're that bored just give yourself an orgasm.

Sure it's only a few seconds long but it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

I feel sorry for you that your orgasms are that short.. I love being a girl! :jamin

When I sit alone, without any companionship....and I want companionship...I say I'm lonely.

I guess being "bored" can constitute as anything depending on the persons mood.

I'm just tired of reading it online.

If the person is bored, and their sitting on their butt on a computer, they should get up and remedy that.

If they don't "have anything to do"

then I assume their not too creative.

I usually don't agree to doing anything of any obligation unless I won't be distracted by what I could be doing.

I just naturally avoid boredom.

And usually I can be entertained doing nothing at all.

buuuUUUuuuuUUUt....

To each their own.

Many moons ago in a land far far away.....I used to complain about being bored....

And the problem was I was high off my ass, and was being boring xD

self realization fellowship teaches...boredom is one of the hardest things to over come on one's spiritual journey...personally I find, If I am healthy...enough to feel boredom...and not tired out from pain, I am good and happy and thankful.

If I have enough free time where I am not working my ass off....or dodging bullets...or trying to stay alive....I am good and happy.

Boredom is welcome here. :jamin

Just need to find a hobby you like, take up an instrument...go meditate...volunteer or work out...write a book.

Which is one of the reasons I'm never bored.

I'm always doing something that keeps my mind at ease.

I have a lot of free time, but If I'm not doing something I feel anxious.

Not bored.

^_^

If I ever get bored I find that as a sign that I'm spending way too much time thinking about doing something interesting, opposed from just doing it.

Being bored isn't BAD.

I just see too much OF IT.

O_o

So correction if you guys may think I'm a boredom Nazi. lol

hehe

Boredom is a fact of reality, but It doesn't happen to me that often. Its fairly rare for me to get bored. There are just too many interesting things in the universe. Even if I'm stuck in a box it takes a good while for the boredom to kick in, there is apart from running around the universe, also a universe of interesting things to ponder.

I am fairly quick to try and come up with something to snap people out of boredom that complain of it. Usually the simplest common denominator is humor, so I tend to go for that. Hopefully, if I'm lucky it can move beyond that to a subject of deeper meaning at some point, not all that common but when it does happen its great.

If someone complains of being bored TOO often, I slowly start to question their intelligence/imagination. Some of the least stimulating people on the planet seem to be the same people that are constantly complaining about lack of stimulation.

I easily get bored...I really don't know what it is. Sure my imagination goes on for a little while but it quickly gets beat out by the reality of my situation.

I guess I really don't get out and do much but I really don't know where to start. I really do try to do things but something always goes wrong and it turns into a mess. The same people that tell me to stop being bored are also the same people, "friends", that never ask me to go do anything. I was just at a Children of Bodom concert, alone, and was bored out of my skull even though I love their music. For the last year my life has been pretty much just me going to class and then being back in my room with the occasional 5 minute talk with random people.

I don't really complain about being bored...I just am...not really happy about it but not sad either. It may just be the fact that I could care less after this long but, well I just really don't care. I don't want people to give me the pity crap and there has been no effort other than that so...
