Need a job

Recommended Posts

Desperate times call for desperate measures. As this economy is in its current position, I do apologize for using DGN to ask this but....

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in criminal justice and have two years experience in security as well as five years military service (Navy). However I have been unemployed for the past three months and am willing to work any position that provides a pay check, even if it is minimum wage.

If anyone knows of a job opening in any entry level field or in the area of security, please let me know.

Thank you

Try Army TACOM in Warren. Here is there website:http://www.tacom.army.mil/main/warren.html

Also, update your resume on USA jobs for goverment jobs. Here is that website: http://www.usajobs.gov/

Also, look at community colleges and university jobs. It might be a teaching position although they do have other positions that come up. Most, not all, put an ad on this website: http://www.indeed.com/

The website, www.Indeed.com also had some security jobs postings. Here the link for that :http://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=security+jobs&l=michigan

I know goverment jobs can take awhile to get into. I hope somethings come up for you soon.

Blessed Be/Take Care

your best bet...MOVE...just up in leave...find a friend, relative...something out of state...GET OUT....you have a great resume...get out of here and do something with it...NOW...don't argue, don't protest....do it.

That isn't always the best bet.

Especially when you have roots.

I have to say, weigh out your options, before you just HEAD OUT and start living off a friend.

You aren't guaranteed to get a job there either, and if you do move, you might not be welcomed back.

And then...you're stuck being a burden on other people, friends, or relatives.

Don't be TOO self absorbed....YOU WILL FIND A JOB.

Just keep trying, and stand your ground HERE.

Try to find a job FIRST if you're going to move.....jeeshhhh

bad bad bad advice.

Don't just up and move.

*This is general advice to anyone who has the freedom and lack of familial obligations to do so*

I've talked to lots of guys who've scored jobs abroad teaching English. Some companies will basically hire you right over the Internet and pay for your plane ticket. Be careful about which ones you pick though.

I agree. If I didn't have this house chaining me here I would have moved to Nevada or Florida a couple years ago. And it wouldn't hurt to start researching now, for when you're at liberty to leave the state.
