How Much?

How much longer

Do I have to wait

To hear your voice

And touch your face?

How much harder

Can it possibly be

To see the time

Ticking slowly away?

How much patience

Will it take for me

To get through the day

And the long, lonely night?

If I have to wait longer

I swear, I will burst

Into a white fluffy cloud

Of intense frustration.

I think it's good. It really harnesses the feeling of being alone. Have you thought of posting your work on poetry.com? I did and I have now been published 3 times.

I actually haven't thought of it. I just didn't think any of my stuff was good enough to share with anyone other than those here.

i liked it too! i don't know if you intended this, but i liked the contrast between "white fluffy cloud" and "intense frustration" made me chuckle a bit, because it seemed both angry/upset, and cute at the same time...

btw, i'm on allpoetry.com, is that the same as the other!?
