Soulrev
Does anyone else here play this? I bought it and started playing it when it first came out.. I only played for a few months but now I'm going to reactivate my account and play again. I would like to play with friends I know if any of you play. The expansions and such that have come out since it's release look like fun, so I'm going to give it another whirl.
Troy Spiral (13)
They "rebuilt" it a few years ago. Same graphics and such but the "rules' of the game were drastically redone. Very, very good game. I played it for about 2 - 3 months before the revamp and then again for another 2-3 after (Guardian the first time, Templar the second.). It really is better than WoW I think. (Which i played for about 11 months) But with the (still) somewhat heavy system requirements, higher learning curve, difficulting with soloing to max level , (all stuff that the more casual gamers tend to require) its been less popular than it really deserves to be. So far in terms of "The Game" EQII gets my vote. "The community" of the game D&D: Online. WoW is in the middle with these. Ultima Online / SWG is sort of to the right of WoW on that scale, Tibia/GW//SWG/Maple Story to the left. (Runescape just sucks all around) In the end the community of a game is a huge factor, some would say even more important than the game. I would still be playing it now If the MMO addiction wasn't so bad for me. I'd really LIKE to login and play with ya, but its just too addicting. Not just EQII, but the whole MMO thing. I might be talked into venturing back to the dark side one day though. *queue eerie music* I still love gaming but I try to steer myself to "real life" games for my fix, it cuts down on the addiction and at least somewhat social.
