Homicidalheathen
Because it is just pissing me off and leaving me horny. I think it is ok for a couple weeks then it starts to drain a relationship especially if the person(s) involved have a high sex drive. Fuck long distance relationships. kellygrrrrrl
I definately think that being apart can make you long for eachother. My man went to CA not too long ago for a week. It was probably the most un-stressed I have felt in a while....I got the whole house to myself, and I could watch whatever I wanted, do whatever I wanted, Have anybody I wanted over, masterbate as much as I wanted, watch as much porn as possible, stay up as late as I want, (Not that I couldn't do all this before,...but without being questioned or worrying about making sure he is cool with it....)After the 1st few days you actually begin to MISS the person. When you are together a lot, you tend to get tired of eachother...to certain extents, but when you have that feeling of loss, it makes you realize or appreciate that person that much more. Go find some stuff to do! WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO.......with reason.....
Brenda Starrr
Every time Wayne goes away on business, I get lonely. I have friends, kids, and family, but I miss him so much. He's been gone since last Saturday, and comes home tomorrow night around 10:30p.m. It feels like he's been gone forever. I'm quite sure that his "welcome home" gift will be far more than just satisfactory. :devil

Onyx
I only see my boyfriend on weekends, and not every single one either. It's worth it to me to continue, even though there's a distance between us because I like him so much. (Of course, I'd move in a heartbeat but at the moment it's not possible for either of us). I think a lot depends on how much you value that person.
pixiefae
I don't know about fonder. I'm with Brenda on this one...lonely would be a better description.
Nienna
I tried this for awhile. It was hard but worth it to me.. I guess he didn't feel the same way... or maybe it just wasn't important enough to him to make it work. Oh well... I'm not going to try the long distance thing again anytime soon. SpidersMoment
i am currently in a long distance relationship and it was hard at first, we went about a year without meeting (due to lack of cash and the long plane ride cost) but then recently he changed locations and got a better paying job, so we actually got to meet about a month ago. I'm telling you...when it came time for him to leave, i was begging him to stay. I didnt want him to leave me because i had fallen even more in love with him then before. I dont get to see him again til July and i'm just counting down the days(40) But anyways, yes, i think it makes it fonder. Since your unable to be there, your unable to bask in the silence, you tend to talk, you tend to learn more, find more things you have in common and just get a bigger "crush" on them. I was in like, now im in love.
Brenda Starrr
Only 26.5 hours until Wayne gets off the plane. I will proudly greet him in my "Mrs. E" hoodie and pj's. I just put the letters on the hoodie last night to surprise him. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawd, I miss him. I really can't sleep without him.
Homicidalheathen
I don't know how you all do it. A week is ok then it just starts to drain me. My energy gets low. Maybe I am just too demanding and don't deserve better. i am currently in a long distance relationship and it was hard at first, we went about a year without meeting (due to lack of cash and the long plane ride cost) but then recently he changed locations and got a better paying job, so we actually got to meet about a month ago. lullaby1031
I think so. Also depends on how involved you are with the other person too. If your in love and its strong, it brings you closer.. but if your only half heartedly involved, then it can tear you apart. We did the long distance thing for a while and it was hell but in the long run, we learned tons about eachother and from that experience, it brought us closer. But when we met, I didn't want him to go back home and neither did he so he stayed a couple weeks longer...then it turned into months.. and then a year.. It's been about 3 years now LOL Brenda "That's why God gave us toys."

paradox
does absence make the heart fonder? unlikely. but it does make you hard up! but hardness is not fondness...or maybe it is... :erm *ducks* :fear
Brenda Starrr
No, I think it does make the heart grow fonder. I feel this huge emptiness when he's gone. When he comes home, I feel like I love him even more.

Dollardave
Absence for me means freedom. See I was married for 4 yrs. Trust me her absence is a good thing. Gives me more to do, but you guys aren't twisted like me. I just fuck her twin sister when I get bored.
TomCat
^ That's so Springer. Absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder. Pursuit of the the things that two people love about one another does.
