JOB FAIR

My school is putting on a job fair this Wednesday afternoon. We are doing this primarily as a service for our parents, but anyone in need of a job is welcome to attend. Participating employers include: State of Michigan, City of Lansing, Michigan State University, Meijer, Consumers Energy, Sparrow Health Systems, WILX, Wal-Mart, Manpower, Comcast, Save-a-lot, Family Dollar, Enterprise rent-a-car, and more. This will definitely be worthwhile for anyone who lives close enough to make working in the Lansing area feasible.

Venue: El-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz Public School Academy, 1028 W. Barnes Ave., Lansing MI 48910 (corner of Martin Luther King Ave.)

Date/time: Wednesday, 5/20/09 from 1-4 PM

Standard job fair stuff, wear shoes & bring resumes! There is ongoing construction along 127 and 496 coming into town from the east & southeast, so check the MDOT road construction site (for University region, Ingham county) and allow extra time if you're coming from points eastward.
