this happend like 5 blocks from my house mom and i were out getting frostys from Wendys and all a sudden we heard a few pops and thought it was kids playin with M-80s or M-100's er somthing so we ignoared it then hear sirens then seen the choppers and went home and fliped on the news and found out a guy locked himself in his house with a M-4 Rifle and was poppin shots off

From what I read in the comment section of the article you posted it seems that one of the neighbors posted saying the man had gotten an eviction notice earlier today, and seems he's also bipolar. If he was getting evicted, he probably couldn't afford his meds, which could be the reason for this reaction.

I hope the man gets some help, and the officer that was shot has a swift recovery.

yea i was reading that to after more updates of the news came on sadly the man was fataly shot they still dont know if he killed himself or he was shot by the officers
