it's making the carpet wet because it's not tilted back far enough. you want the back of the unit (outside part) lower than the front (inside)...

The entire thing is inside. It has a hose like a dryer that they have taped to blow outside while the air intake is right next to the hose. It basically looks like a thinner version of a mini fridge. It is leaking on the bottom since it's stands upright. So I just took a plastic garbage bag and put it under the entire unit almost like a tarp.

I think my apartment office isn't going to like me tomorrow. I have to call the office to see what I can do about my wet carpets because there is a ton of water leaking. Plus today a bunch of baby yellow jackets were swarming my dog on our walk and I keep finding spiders ranging in size in my bathroom.

I know that they don't normally name hash (usually takes on the name of the weed it was derived from), but in honor Trailer Park Boys, best show from the north EVAR, they need to have a kind of hash called "Canadian Driveway".

Anyone who is lulzing at that clearly is a TPB fan as I am :rofl:.
