So, let me get this straight:

You can show a murdered victim's entire body on TV so as long as you blur out the face,

You can show a reenactment of an explicit sex act and/or rape scene on TV so long as you note they are actors in a disclaimer,

You can show video footage of an actual brutal attack taken with a cell phone on TV so long as it helps in an investigation.

But TV can not air footage of a turd in a litter box because that is considered vulgar...

I find it interesting that I keep hearing about how Juggalos took over Belle Isle and were all over the city, put up a ferris wheel and circus equipment (which I am still wondering how they would have gotten this stuff onto the bridge coming down East Grand Blvd or Jefferson Ave without a police escort) and took over the island. However I did Google "Juggalos on Belle Isle" and got this posting from DGN's own pomba gira:

As for Juggalos in Detroit, Michigan, it appears that annually they have a gathering in various locations. In 2015, they had "Juggalo Weekend 2015, Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan" with various activities and a scavenger hunt through Detroit (just like the Ingress Mission Day just had on April 23rd):

I'm still researching more to find out about the aforementioned activity on the island. Although I basically frequent the Belle Isle area almost daily (and have done so for many years), apparently a lot more stuff was going on than just the bridge renovation, the reworking of East Grand Blvd / Jefferson Ave road construction, Penske Day and the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix (I corporate hosted for 3 years), the annual Cherry Blossom Viewing and Tea events by multiple cultural associations and almost daily school field trips.

I remember getting kicked off the island for being there after 11pm when they first changed the rules. My class was there for spirit week, but Roger Penske had struck a deal with the city as to how the area would be used to host the races - moving it from the streets of Downtown Detroit to the main boulevards of the western tip of Belle Isle.

Can't belive I invited like 214 people to The Gathering and the total invites is like  234 right now.   Really makes me feel like I need to just give it up sometimes and focus on something that I care about other than this, as I can't carry the whole thing myself.  

I know thats not logical, I know people care , at least a few people.  Just disheartening.  

Plus as it stands right now , there will be zero cards for The Gathering 10.   I have the laminate but due to the way the DGN bills hit at the end of last month begining of this month,  the "paper"  (its good stuff) runs about 15 (at a good deal) to 20 bucks, which I guess I can pull out of my ass from somewhere, its not like I cant scrounge up 20 bucks.  But if people don't want them that much, it's a lot of time/effort (more than the money) so what's the point.  About 60% of DGN is "for other people" and I enjoy it, if they want it.   If they don't I need to just drop whatever it is.
