What Are You Thinking?

I told myself I will have a Zen day today and I think that has made me a magnet for all sorts of annoying stuff this morning.

Before 7:45am:

My nephew claims it is "Mix Match Day" at school and is wearing stuff. I told him if I get a call from the school, he's walking home.

My bus stop buddy informs me that Friday a girl got raped in the vacant house next to mine. All I could say is I have called the police 5 times about that location, but no one seems to care and there is not much I can do but hope the junkies don't set it on fire because my house might go up too.

My neighbors, from across the street, used my front yard as a garbage can last night so I had to pitch all their trash before heading in to clean up from this morning's breakfast.

I am still staying calm. I have a lot to do today and I refuse to lose it before I cut the trees out of the alley pathway or get down to the recycling facility or pick up gas to cut the yards or find a new internet service provider or call Rizzo to find out why they haven't picked up our curbside recycling or make mailing arrangements with our mother's former co-worker or drop my nephew at football practice this evening.

How I wish my anxiety would just go away, already. So tired of feeling so wound up all the time.

Would it be helpful to have a brief, non-virtual, meet and greet to talk about things for a half a minute?

Anytime! Sorry for the late reply, pain meds took me to la-la land lastnight. :)

So you probably wouldn't be up to coming out to The Red Apple Restaurant tonight to hang with us? :hope:
