I just was on my fb and I guess it does this a year ago, two years ago, three years ago today thing and I just got blasted with things that make my heart feel weird, like I just had this rush of things and it was hard to catch my breath. Wow, that's..sad and different from anything I ever have experienced.

It is ridiculous how long it takes me to complete one task. I've been working on the same case since 3:30pm just to discover I could not file it as is and had to start over with an add-on that has to be verified before I can proceed. So here's looking at another 2 business days.

Nobody was home.  They must have been neigbors because we were only gone for like 45 minutes at the most and by the time we got back the TV was gone along with a lot of other random stuff.   The insurance paid for a lot of it, but not nearly enough.  My problem is two fold, 1. my mom is really bad with lets call it "safety practices" she doesn't leave the lights on, she refuses to get like motion activated or timed ones, she wont get a home security system (and she can afford it).  I'd just buy one for her if I could.    I argue with her like 2 times a week LEAVE THE GOD DAMN LIGHTS ON AT NIGHT.  she has it in her head that lights on means that people are "faking" like they are home . Plus with all her health problems if anyone broke in at night, shes hooked up to a tube (cancer related) and is pretty much knocked out past like 1am.   I've been doing a lot of research about "best practices" and leaving the lights OFF is BAD.   Get to the safest room you can (hopefully with a lock and grab the cell phone, bunker yourself in there.)  Me I'm a bit more off my rocker and if some M-Fers actually had the balls to break in while I was HOME , I'm ready for them , combat kives, 9mm, a mace GUN (this is what I think everyone should have, non-leathal but ut HURTS) .  But that's not the case.  :(  I can only be home so much, I have a critical (psych) level GF I have to go look after too, plus I'm broke.

I'm glad you guys weren't home and I agree if someone comes in that must mean they have a deathwish! I don't have a gun but I have thought about getting one, especially since I have been mugged before, even though I defended myself without one if I was armed it would never have gotten as far as it did. I've had a neighbor on two separate occasions walk in my house, both times they were stoned on pills out of their mind and thought they were going to their apartments! The one recent time here, he ran and hid at the neighbors across the hall, I didn't know that he was a tenant even but when the cops came they could not find him and later that day the neighbor told me he walked in his house was sitting on his couch and he said he walked out of the bathroom, laughing cause he knew him, and was like what are you doing here? I guess the guy was so messed up the neighbor took him to the psych hospital. I haven't seen him since. I hate it over here the neighbors are pretty much always stoned, ambulance coming taking people to the hospital, I mean the majority of the neighbors are great but the one's that aren't are terrible.. There is a registered sex offender two doors down! His charge is CSC I forgot what level I think 3 but basically the definition of his crime.. Penetration of a minor under age 15! I think he was paroled here or something because I recently started getting emails "sex offender in your area", I thought it was spam but I just so happened to do a search and BAM! Right here! There are a lot of kids here too. I'm uncomfortable for the kids and I don't know if I should tell other neighbors, I mean they have a right to know.. I know that the dude has to live somewhere but around kids? The schools are pretty much a walking distance.. I mean about a mile away.

Time really doesn't wait for anyone. By the time I've gotten the kids off to school, done security and yard checks, watered the plants, fed and cleaned the pets, 2 hours are gone like that.  And I still have multiple task to complete before I have to chauffeur later. At least I don't have to be here when DTE comes to remove the tree that fell on the pole in the alley a couple days ago.

Very early the other morning before the sun rose, I let the dogs out. to ask to come back inside.  When they did, I let them back in and as we began walking my mom's perfume filled the kitchen. I was so surprised. I hadn't smelled that scent since her last doctor's appointment in May. On my way through I discovered the scent was throughout the entire downstairs. When I reached the living room where she sits on the mantle I smiled and said "good morning, Ma". The dogs didn't want to go upstairs. We eventually made it back up to bed.

When we came down after the sun had risen, her scent was gone. My niece said it was just grandma saying hi. I felt content the rest of the day.

I think she is saying good morning to each of us in her own way. I've been having dreams of me and ma driving through various cities for fun and meeting up to exchange information at scavenger hunt rendezvous sites. I can tell when I'm about to wake up because she would suddenly show up to give me a hug and drive off after which I wake up with a bit of an adrenaline rush.

I don't think it's funny that some guy has his friend take his phone and text me throughout the night telling me he tried killing himself cause of me telling him I can't talk to him anymore because I have caught him up in several lies and even gave him the chance several times over to be honest. I don't even think it was his friend I think it was him faking to be his friend. I'm not going to feed into that. I hope he gets the real help that he needs

This is crazy how much power the government has in this country and how blatantly they move at their own pace.

Regardless of the fact that I informed the Social Security Administration of our mother's passing when I contacted them on October 9th, they still electronically deposited SSA funds into the account on October 14th and then withdrew them on October 15th. Unfortunately, this action caused the Federal government to place a hold on the remaining available bank funds until October 24th. Therefore, shopping has been limited to select items, but bills are due this Friday...so it looks like I'll be robbing Peter to pay Paul...again. 

Such is life...I suppose...
