I think I need to find out if I can get my windshield replaced under insurance before the crack gets worse with the cold/warm weather changes we got going on.

Just call Safelite Auto Glass of Garden City at (734) 425-2100. They'll help you out at a very low cost.

Will do. I'm originally from Garden City, so that's awesome. :)

Unfortunately, the crack is originally from a chip that's already been repaired once, so I'm thinking I need a whole new windshield this time. Sad thing is, this one isn't even a year old ... and the chip happened a few weeks after I got the new windshield.

What about that stuff they've been advertising lately...it's a thing where it's this almost liquid like substance that's injected into cracks and effectively repairing them completely?

I think that is what they used the first time, but I'm not 100% sure.

I will call them and get their opinion. :)

Ok. I hope it helps. I know insurance companies can be a royal bitch to deal with when it comes down to simple repair jobs...they are all too happy to charge you an arm and a leg.

Oh, I know that ... they are even a pain when you have a majour repair job. A tree fell on this car just before it turned a year old ... instead of totalling it, they fixed it ... and it's been RE-FIXED twice since it happened almost two years ago now. Instead of totalling out the $12,000 remaining loan ... they have forked out about $35,000 in repairs, against my original suggestion of totalling it (I have GAP insurance through Mazda, so I told them I wasn't even worried about the totalling amount).

My insurance phobia I have from the tree incident is why I still have a dent in my door from this summer ...

also, I think I'm a little jaded, because of this easily entertained thing, because I can't wrap my head around the fact that other have such a hard time entertaining themselves... I mean, I am an only child, and no friends that live near by (which has been the case for most of my life), so I've had to entertain myself for years now... so i guess its really easy for me....

WEll, there goes that atomic pink .... Any body want a bottle of special effects atomic pink? Cause I sure as fuck don't want it now LOL.

Hmmmm......I'll swap you some meat pies for it. You get to pick whom you want the meat pies made from, too! :stuart:

I'm also thinking, "An hour until my supper guest arrives. Into the oven goes the enchiladas."

P.S. I'm also thinking that those first two thoughts sounded awfully twisted, when posted together (even though the first was a joke..or was it?) :hrhr:

Wouldn't you want someone to point out that you are fucking something up? You know, that way you don't continue to do it over and over again. Constructive criticism. Apparently, I made one of the nurses I work with cry because I pointed out four very important things that she didn't document at all throughout her shift. And apparently she was offended that I had made a list. Well, yeah because I needed to fucking remember what to tell her. I wasn't a bitch about it, I was nice and started the convo off with "Just so you know....you missed this, this and this and this with your documentation and this is why it's important to not miss it in the future. Remember, if it ain't documented, it wasn't done in the eyes of the regulatory committees." I hate being pulled into the manager's office.

People need to stop being so sensitive.

    • Feeling happy to report that my neighbor and her cat are now back together.  I build her fur baby an indoor Cat Run and now the cat and her 3 kittens have been moved in.  I told my neighbor to make sure the little ones stay with their mother for at least 3 days in their new environment before she starts letting people handle and take the babies away.    I wish she would keep at least one of the 3 kittens, but apparently they are all already spoken for.

    • Well it happened, understandably but it still sucks.  I hated them both so I was going to be unhappy either way, but I do admit I hate Trump slightly more because of the narcissism, egomania, xenophobia, and misogyny.  On top of that that insufferable base of his who think that they are free to act the same way now that he's won.  The apologetics from them were horrible too where they handwaved away legitimate criticisms, and mocking those who brought them with "orange man bad!"   The one good thing to come out of this is punk music is going to absolutely rock for the next few years.  However I really just have one question... https://www.loudersound.com/features/andrew-eldritch-sisters-of-mercy-will-make-another-album-if-trump-is-elected IT'S HAPPENED TWICE NOW ANDY, WHERE'S OUR FUCKIN' ALBUM‽ Well, I guess at least I'll get to keep my guns.
