I sooo miss going to the San Franciso parade. Actually marched in it one year, with the mental health agency I worked for (watching is much more fun). Still have some tatters from a rainbow flag, from the first year I lived there ('85)... occupying an honored place on my altar.

OMG. My mom use to take us as kids to the Gay Pride festival in LA (West Hollywood) EVERY year. Seriously, people always ask me where the hell I get my make up skills from, and I always have a one word answer - Dragqueens!

I miss it. It was always SO MUCH FUN.
