Joey Deadcat
Always wanted to get a tat of Quetzalcoatl. Kinda discouraged these days as my sister did some looking into and believes we might not have much, if any, Indian in us. Might be more Spanish than we thought. Homicidalheathen
I have Ometeotl, its becoming rather common which kinda pisses me off... the aztec designs have soo much detail that the tats are best done on a larger scale, and it takes longer and thus hurts more

Like, I have an Ankh, I am not an Egyptian..but I am Eternal.

They are from the Southern reaches of what used to be the Louisiana Territory... Mexico has nothin' to do with Creol. There's no evidence of that happening..but I heard they did exploring & trading with the peoples in what is now our South..if they lived there, they would have built things. It's moreso for the Creation symbolism behind it, not the religious meanings.
Homicidalheathen
I hear the argument all the time. 'First they come and take our land, then try to rob us of our culture...religion and heritage.'
