BTW- Some of the names of the bands I've found are Oferia, Frigh, 616 Abortions, Dark Army - which I already knew about, and End The Cold. There's a mix of signed/unsigned bands there.

yes ma'am you are correct, thanks for the tip. I input synthpop and a bunch of interesting stuff came up - Nukleon and FBF are examples of artist I came across.

I find myself just using Shareza, mp3.com, mp3search.ru and Real Rhapsody primarily.

There's so much stuff between what i have in my house, and what i can get from friends and the three above sources that i could spend the next 100 years searching through it all (with nothing new added ever) and never listen to all the good stuff i think hah.

Im actually trying to slow down with the endless new music search, i have so much stuff i haven't really given a "full listen to" its not funny. But then again i also tend to be able to listen to the same songs over and over to the point were friends of mine are at times saying "... omg... this ...god....damn...album ... STILL??? "

Sometimes its brought me to like albums/songs that i disliked initially but i have this built in tendency to try and give things that i don't like right off the bat a few more listens before i toss them in the "don't like it" bin. (one of the many idiot behaviors I've been cultivating for most of my adult life)

I've bought albums that I felt was questionable.. but like ya said - you give them a couple listens before you end up tossing it out. Just to make sure it doesn't grow on me. It's hard to find good stuff online a good majority of the time since theres more shitty bands out there then anything. So I'm happy thus far :grin I was feeling the same way about resorting to listening to all my older stuff, getting highly bored with it. It seems like nothing great has came out in a while... Something that just leaves me thinking "Wow, that was spiffy! I have to buy the C.D. right now!" Hopefully soon though...
