DGN takes over Ren Fair

Recommended Posts

Believe it or not, that is far enough away I can schedule it.

And, believe it or not, (despite SpammeroftheGods positive encouragement and a strange desire to yell "ROMA VICTOR!" throughout the fair,) I am *still* at a loss for costuming...damned breastplate.

Just for that I'll put it in the title. ;)

...and make a remark about it to the staffies. ;) I already see two mods from here stating they will probably be able to make it. ;) w00t!

You rock Hunhee, thanks for the Mod help and to Rev. and Ryle for helping bring my idea together!

Well, if it is robes, I would go Roman Senatorial. Most Romans were of similar complection. And I would go nuts with a beard more than a week old (Roman middle class upwards were usually clean shaven.)

Of course, if I had my way and access to time and ability:

But that is just me...most likely going off the deep end of things

Roman Senatorial is a bit um...dated...considering the Hollygrove (village is named you know) we are going to is in the mid-to-late 1600's I believe ;)

I'll help with what ever robe you settle on...providing it be a simple one.

WELL...I've been getting into Ren Fest free every year since I was probably 12 because my Aunt Becky and Roxanne are travelling belly dancers with the troope Carnivale Mijoon (Majoon?). Yes, I have members of my family that are travelling belly dancers, my family is off and unique .

SO...with that said, I will definately be there, in full dress, with beer, and ready to rock out with my cock out.

And of course Pestilence will be there too :)

Weekend before? *happy pretty grin*

If not, it's good. I am just too busy of a person lately.
