I remember seeing some guy (I believe he was the State Treasurer of Pennsylvania) blow his brains out at a press conference just after he got indicted on some corruption charge or other; this would've been 1983 or thereabouts. NBC ran the tape about 3 minutes after it happened; not knowing just what it was that their afiliate had given them, they ran it unedited that one time.

Incidentally, that was the guy the band Filter wrote, "Hey Man Nice Shot" about...not Kurt Cobain as has been rumored.
