Lindsay Lohan entangled in jewelry heist

Posted on June 16th, 2009 by Austin

With her career apparently swirling the drain and the innumerable holes in her love-life, you’d Lindsay Lohan would be more careful in situations that could bring bad PR? Apparently not.

The UK’s foremost police department, Scotland Yard, have now been summoned to investigate the unexplained disappearance of $400,000 of jewelry from a photo-shoot LaLohan did on June 6. “She kept going on about the jewels, asking if she could have them,” a source tells NBC. “We all thought she was joking!?”

Lindsay’s reps got several calls from the mag when the loss was discovered, but ignored every one. And that’s when the Police got involved, “We’re investigating an allegation of theft of jewelry from studios in Islington,” a Police spokeswoman told reporters. “The theft was reported on June eighth, after earrings and a necklace went missing. Inquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”

Now the law are involved Lindsay’s reps are finally taking their calls. They claim they’ve been asking everyone who was there at the shoot where the jewels might have gone, and that the precious Ms. Lohan will be ‘happy to co-operate’…and thus extend her career.

This is the third time the 22-year old actress has been involved in a tabloid burlesque about missing bling. Two years ago some big-ticket Luis Vuitton samples ‘disappeared’ from a magazine shoot, and last year she was fingered for leaving a party with a complete stranger’s expensive fur coat.

My God, she doesn't even look recognizable to me. She seriously needs to lay off the drugs and eat a fucking biscuit, quick! I would have never guessed that was her unless someone told me.

I'm glad I'm done with drugs, that shit's fucked up.

Ye gods. I think the last time I saw a woman like that, I was placing a line on her for IV nutrition.

Sad case: woman a year or two younger than I am, bad case of anorexia nervosa. Did so many laxatives that she developed a Clostridium difficle superinfection of her colon. We had to take the entire colon out, and give her a permanent ostomy, or she would have died.

I believe if Ms. Lohan keeps this up, she will never be able to get another job in front of the camera due to the fact there is not enough funding in movies to CGI out a ostomy bag.

Yes, I have medical horror stories, first-hand witnessed. While things may shock me initially, they don't surprise me.

It's one thing to be thin to a Healthy degree, but to be thin like Lindsay is, so thin that we could see her heart beating, even when she is fully clothed, that's just sad.

Yeah.. She looked much better before... & She was still skinny, yet healthy looking.

A little bit too skinny maybe but she looks fine if we are just talking about the weight. Its more her skin tone and the "haggard" look I would be concerned about. Like malnourished. If she had beeter skin color and didn't look so run-down I might think "she could stand to gain a FEW pounds, but really its not all that bad if we are just talking about the weight it self.

Just as a personal preference I do prefer the more old-fashion movie star physique where it was still lets say "average/slender" but they had enough meat on thier bones to have something to cuddle with and were more curvy. Tooth picks aren't the best snuggle pals in the world.

In the end though, looks fade, or just plain loose their allure. I'd so much rather have somone I can share my life with and my passions, interests or at least she cared about me enough to listen to what was important to me and maybe even try to learn to like it, in the same way I would do for her. A sweetheart is worth a million hot-bitches. That turns a 6 into a 9 or 10 for me. *sigh*
