Head Wreck
the poor guy had a less than normal updbringing, was never allowed a childhood as such but no real reason to "grow up" if you get me so of course he turned out a strange individual. he has taken a battering in the news the last few years with a career that is simply held up by his fanbase (and some of them are just kooks like he), and from what was seen in the interview, he has a childs conception of where money comes from so didnt curb his spending at all. huge debt and villanisation... it is a lot for anyone
Rev.Reverence
There are whispers of a possible Demerol overdose. The personal physician, who apparently lived at the mansion, and who also apparently administered a Lidocaine injection, is missing in action. This guy knows something. I can't wait to see the coroner's report for this one..I'll bet it's a doozy. I bet it disappears...to ebay. Troy...fantastic post ma'man.

And of course I was a huge Jackson 5 fan... it was obligatory for little black girls in the early 70s. Watched the cartoon every Saturday, fought with my cousins over who got to be married to Michael when we played "Life", rode my bike past Berry Gordy's estate hoping to catch a glimpse of him... Lost interest as I got older & moved on to funk & rock music, but no doubt he was an immensely talented individual. So if I am mourning at all, it's for that beautiful little boy with the bright eyes and angelic smile who had so much talent, but ended up losing himself so completely. Brenda Starrr
For craps sake, people... He may have been "weird." But most truly talented people have some sort of weirdness to them. To sit here and insult him for what (from what I've followed) has NEVER been proven to be the truth, is just plain awful. Funny how goths bitch and whine about being judged, and look what YOU'RE doing. Not ALL of you, but certainly a fair amount. While I didn't agree with his lifestyle or excessive plastic surgery, this man survived YEARS of abuse, and was an amazingly talented man. Look at your own lives. Those of you with open marriages, are huge in the fetish community, whatever. Think about it. /rant OFF

jynxxxedangel
I just read a news article, where Dr. Deepak Chopra had some disturbing things to say about Mr. Jackson's self-medication. He was genuinely worried about him-- as a friend, and as a patient. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...r-years_1107904 These quack doctors, who will give anything to anyone, are fast becoming a problem. I have lost two friends in a similar manner. They were addicted to prescription opiates given by a doctor; when you take that stuff all day, every day-- there is a very fine line between drug tolerance and overdose. You aren't "getting off" on the pills, so you take more..and it's just enough to put you down for a dirt nap, or a trip to the hospital, at the very least. It's funny how much people nit pick other people's lives when they're busy drowning in their own ocean of issues. Everyone is. Michael was no different. I don't think he touched them little boys and to me it didn't matter whether he was black or white...he was still MJ, and was enough. A BAMF at what he did, a true artist, and as Dave Chapelle puts it...he did THRILLER man, fucking THRILLER . It's just sad he died so young, 50 definately is not a ripe old age to go at, but I can figure the stress of being him finally got to him, and having your body go through multiple surgeries also adds more strain to your body. I will say the first CD I ever owned was a MJ single when I was 9. That's all my bff, Lisa, and I listened to at the time (along with you know, Coolio, Ace of Base, Salt and Pepper, TLC, go on and laugh people, even Cherny was once a 9 year old girl ). I wouldn't say "fast becoming a problem"... more like "have been a problem for many years". Look at Elvis. Back in the '80s I knew of several "Dr. Feelgoods" in the Bay area (and a few who were labeled as such but honestly just wanted to help people)... Anyplace with lots of moneyed, stressed-out people is going to be crawling with these quacks.

Charles Crowe
never really heard his music, never really followed his trials, and didn't really care either way, but death is still a hard thing for family and friends [and in this case, fans] to go through. i hope he gets what he deserves in the afterlife, or perhaps his next life [as how do we really know what awaits us after death] and his family and friends the strength to live on so he may live in memory. I am bettin everyone that was affiliated with him will come out with a book. When you have a star that blanks out everything else in the world and almost shuts down the internet because of people wanting to verify, then you know you can make money off the death of the most famous man on the planet. dragonluv
Michael, I was informed that tomorrow there was suppose to be a public memorial service at Neverland Ranch. We fans had a change to say goodbye to you. I hear now that it cancel. This might sound silly Michael. But your song, "You are not Alone". I feel that you are singing that song from Heaven to your fans and loves ones. "You are not Alone" by Michael Jackson Another day has gone I'm still all alone How could this be You're not here with me You never said goodbye Someone tell me why Did you have to go And leave my world so cold Everyday I sit and ask myself How did love slip away Something whispers in my ear and says That you are not alone For I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay You are not alone I am here with you Though we're far apart You're always in my heart You are not alone All alone Why, oh Just the other night I thought I heard you cry Asking me to come And hold you in my arms I can hear your prayers Your burdens I will bear But first I need your hand So forever can begin Everyday I sit and ask myself How did love slip away Then something whispers in my ear and says That you are not alone For I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay For you are not alone I am here with you Though we're far apart You're always in my heart And you are not alone Whisper three words and I'll come runnin' And girl you know that I'll be there I'll be there You are not alone I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay You are not alone I am here with you Though we're far apart You're always in my heart You are not alone For I am here with you Though you're far away I am here to stay For you are not alone For I am here with you Though we're far apart You're always in my heart For you are not alone Michael, I will always miss you. I send you hugs and kisses to Heaven for you. I love you Michael.

The guy was sued so much during his life from all the scumbags, leeching off him. And they totally knew a celebrity of his magnitude was worth millions and millions of dollars. And people started seeing him as a cash machine. So I ask you this, despite the alleged reports of him doing the dastardly things they're claiming he did, and how come Corey Feldman or Maculy Culkin (sp?) always had nothing but nice things to say about him? They did not think those allegations were true. Whatever the case is, Michael was really hurt from all of it. I can sorta sympathize with him since he was robbed of his childhood. I thought it was bs too. Especially on the 2nd one. That family had a long history of suing celebrities for ridiculous things. I also think it was Chris Tucker stole $60 from her and George Lopez stole her sons wallet. And if it were true, which I don't think it was, then the mother should be arrested too. I for one, would not let my kid stay at the home of someone accused of child molestation, much less his bed. She basically would've sent her son there to make her some money.
