I was there. Hadn't planned on going, but was convinced at the last minute to tag along. It wasn't as hellishly hot as I feared it might me. Had a pretty good time. Left on the early side. Saw some old friends, and met a couple newbies. Not making a list right now 'cause I'm feeling tired and lazy and I'd forget people. Maybe in a couple days.

Had me a blast even though I got there late. Chad was kind enough to drive me, I also went with Miss Kitty and another friend. Saw so many people last night it was freakin' awesome! ^_^ And I got to meet the beautiful TygerLili for the first time that I can actually remember. lol

Ahh, just had a blast is all.

Vampire-First DGNer I talked to. Nice to meet you. Found your card in my bra when I got home, lol.

Tszura-You are lovely, even when dressed for comfort, and a sweetheart. I'm so happy I could congratulate you in person.

Nightgaunt-Enjoyed talking to you. That was the first time I really remember talking to you aside from "Hi, how are you" type of pleasantries. Congratulations to you, again, as well.

Enishi-Had fun talking and dancing with you. Thanks for keeping me company. Always a pleasure.

Darque Metallion-Good seeing you again, sweetie. Were you trying out a new look, or was I just seeing things?

Lord of Sins-So nice running into you again. You may be right, we may not have actually talked directly before, as our respective significant others have tended to the the chatty ones. We shall have to start, though.

Black Jack-One of the first DGNers I saw. Sharp dressed man, though was I seeing things, or did you change shirts halfway through the night?

Killer Bunnie-Good seeing you again. I know as the long islands were kicking in I saw you coming up and yelled "Becca!" What happened after that, however is a bit blurry.

Troy-Thanks for talking me into going out, for babysitting me, and letting me have a break form being me (aka the responsible one) for a night. I had fun.

I think I saw a few others roaming about after I hit the dance floor, but it could have been long islands.

I thought I might be overdoing things a bit this week, but it worked out.

Got there early with TL, left a bit early also but I had a good time. Glad I went. My twin mottos used to be "If you aren't the last person to leave you didn't stay long enough!" and "City Club is like Las Vegas..." .

The turnout was a bit low as expected, being 4th of July. Not quite as low as I had envisioned. The total number of people in a place doesn't really matter to me one way or the other. What the total turnout is being more of a curiousity than anything else. The specific folk I am able to talk to / see is the key. Could be 25 people in a building or 2500. Up to me to have a good time as a verb rather than hope one just happens upon me.

Thanks very much to the few people that helped promote DGN. Worth your weight in gold.

I had a weeeeeeee bit too much to drink which was great for a while and I was floating the whole time I was there...alas totally fell asleep on the way home D:D:D: Oh well... Anyways it was a good night, a very good night. I danced some, I socialized bunches, I was kinda hopping back and forth between a lot of corners a lot that night! Twas a good night.

I talked to a few people here and there. Must admit a little bit of it is a bit blurry, but I remember speaking to a few at slightly longer length who were particularly pleasant.

In the "random as hell" category / Lost & Found category:

I found one of those short costume petticoats on the floor by the trash in the ladies room, as if it had been thrown away. I was drunk and for some reason got it into my head that my friend had lost it, so I picked it up and washed it off and threw it in my bag. I don't even remember now which friend I thought it belonged to. OTL Anyways...um...I really don't want this thing around, so if anyone knows someone who lost one, let me know? I want to return it to its rightful owner, if it has one...it was by the trash so maybe whoever it was tried to throw it away. (?) For me the whole thing is a big "?" so um...yeah. If you know someone who's lost a petti, I probably rescued it from the trash and have it and would be delighted to get it back to them.

I was there but I didn't really talk to anyone. I didn't show up till after midnight and it was pretty dead after 2 but I stayed until the ugly lights came on. I'll be there again this Saturday after the VnV show, hopefully I'll see and talk to more of you this time.
