That show is live so there are bound to be screw ups, and he I believe is on the early show that starts at 5am. And yes he's also a bit of an idiot. Fox and Friends is generally fluff news anyway in my opinion, they don't want to bum people out before they've had their coffee.

Here instead of watching any news channel I can sum it up for you:

some people died

some people were killed

some bad shit happened

some of the bad shit could turn out to be good shit

this political party sucks

this other political party is "better"

Mother Nature could care less about what you consider to be comfortable during whatever season it is

some stuff happened in sports and made some people happy and others sad

gas went down

gas went up

chips make your ass fat

not eating chips makes your ass skinny

don't shake babies

some other country doesn't like the one you are in and its all your fault

etc...

its basically real life...but not really real at all...watching the news and calling it out for being stupid gets you the CAPTAIN OBVIOUS award...sorry the uniform is at the dry-cleaners for now but thats because some lady spilled REALLY hot coffee on her lap and had to sue McDonalds...but really those asshole gave her HOT coffee! They should have at least covered the cup in the word HOT a few hundred times over...

But it's still another thing to point out when there is blatant contemptible RACISM and just.... Damn guys this is a DIFFERENT LEVEL and DIFFERENT KIND of STUPID here.

Call it Captain Obvious if you must, but I still think this is different than any question of reliability. The problem is not that he said something unreliable or dumbed down or devoid of content. It's that he implied that people of different races are DIFFERENT SPECIES. Seriously? You guys all think this is the same as all the normal dumb stuff that goes on the 6 o'clock news every day?

Well when it comes to racism every network has it...it just depends on how you define racism.

Now, when it comes to racism I have to admit that I generally don't talk about anyone besides white people anymore because no matter how hard I try to please those "pc" people I always get "busted" for being "racist".

With the news being what it is I find it hard to avoid at least a little "racism" here and there. It still sucks but they can't just sit there and explain themselves all day. Sure this guy was a little more blunt than others but what if it was a non-white person talking about the evil "whitey"?

I am not trying to start an argument about racism and what you think is ok or not...its just that this too falls under my point about the news always being shitty no matter what side you are on. Non-white people may take offense to this news channel and then there are some white people like me that take offense to some of the shit said about us on other stations.

Just...don't watch the news...the stars and your palm give you more accurate readings...hell even my Alphabet cereal makes better predictions and gives better information than the news does...my Cheerios on the other hand are no help at all...

If you don't want to be offended by shit you can look the other way, not watch or read from that source, etc...all of those options are much better than getting yourself worked up about something that probably will never change.

I stopped watching the news around the time that they lost all honor and any sense of shame that they had so...yeah I never really watched it for very long...but they lost all that shit a LONG time ago.
