Draco1958
Watching the 10 o'clock news, I learned that Walter Cronkite has died. In my honest opinion, he was the one newscaster that Americans trusted. I remember when in junior high, my history class teacher had us watch the show You Were There and fill out a report form for class credit. I also remember him for all the Apollo moon reports as well as many other stories. He will be missed.

n0Mad
"And that's the way it was ..." They just don't make newscasters like this anymore. He was also the narrator for the "Spaceship Earth" ride at Epcot.
Slogo
Now that was a real old-school journalist if there was one. Spook beat me to the punch with the send off.
StormKnight (1)
I still remember him on the Iran hostage situation when I was 10, "We believe that this bus has the hostages, and not a visiting basketball team." At least I remember him saying that quote. R.I.P.
